Transcript
Speaker A:

It means that if we're not being creative, we're keeping an essence of God away from us.

Speaker A:

We're not cooperating with that, which.

Speaker A:

I thought I said the same thing a minute ago, but you're so much clearer than I am.

Speaker B:

Well, you know, God, don't make any mistakes.

Speaker A:

You know, I love teaching piano students and, you know, when we were stuck in the laws of.

Speaker A:

Okay, here's the note, here's the meter, here's the way you got to do it.

Speaker C:

That's a taste of unleashing your inner divine.

Speaker C:

Part two, this week's episode of the Wise Guys, a podcast that unleashes the unthinkable in culture, religion, and everyday life.

Speaker C:

In this conversation, the guys continue to dive into a deeper spirituality and challenge you to recognize and release your innate divine attributes.

Speaker C:

So strap in, shatter the norm, and see if you are willing to let Mac the Rev and Coach Stu take you to a place of thinking differently.

Speaker B:

All right, welcome to the Wise Guys, a podcast where we unleash the unthinkable and shatter the norm to help us see things differently.

Speaker B:

Go to the inside edge and stimulate what new thinking?

Speaker B:

Oh, that's a scary thought for a lot of folks right there, if you even have a thought.

Speaker B:

Oh, there was a little pun in there, wasn't there?

Speaker B:

Oh, thank you very much.

Speaker B:

Well, hi, I'm Mac and I'm your host.

Speaker B:

And in this episode, this is a kind of a part two.

Speaker B:

So I'll start off by saying, first of all, if you didn't listen to the previous episode, which was part one, go back, listen to it, and then tell your friends to listen to it too.

Speaker B:

Okay?

Speaker B:

Let's not forget about that.

Speaker B:

But we're gonna keep.

Speaker B:

We're gonna keep on this theme of a little bit of more deep spirituality, and it's of the unleashing the inner divine.

Speaker B:

And we know that each of us is a mixture of, well, maybe a little bit of complacent sort of commitments as well as complex consciousness.

Speaker B:

That's a mouthful, isn't it?

Speaker B:

Maybe you can rewind that 10 second back and come forward.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker B:

Until you get that right.

Speaker B:

But, you know, it's going to be fun.

Speaker B:

We're going to pick up on that.

Speaker B:

And I think you're going to.

Speaker B:

You're going to have a lot of fun with it.

Speaker B:

But again, I got my guys, man.

Speaker B:

Of course I got my guys.

Speaker D:

All right, Stu, the Wise guys.

Speaker D:

Coach Stu here.

Speaker B:

Hey, Max is in the house.

Speaker D:

Hey, Rev.

Speaker A:

Hey, I'm here.

Speaker A:

My full humanity and my full divinity Tonight.

Speaker B:

That's a double full.

Speaker D:

I'm going to jump in.

Speaker D:

In the car with you this time.

Speaker B:

He's been.

Speaker D:

Let me see.

Speaker D:

I've been on a train.

Speaker D:

I've been in a boat.

Speaker D:

Now we're in a car.

Speaker D:

Well, see where we go.

Speaker B:

He's been supersized.

Speaker B:

Okay, guys, you guys can.

Speaker B:

You can go the journey together.

Speaker D:

All right, so we're gonna do it.

Speaker D:

Hey, let me say hello to all of you beautiful, exotic cocktails there.

Speaker D:

Thanks for being here.

Speaker B:

No, yes, we thank you.

Speaker B:

We thank you for listening.

Speaker B:

It's a joy.

Speaker B:

It really is a joy to so just be able to have this conversation and get some feedback and see how it's changing stuff out there.

Speaker B:

Because I think we can all agree some stuff's got to change, gang.

Speaker B:

And I think it needs to start with each one of us.

Speaker B:

We're not pointing out there.

Speaker B:

We're certainly pointing.

Speaker D:

That's exactly where it starts.

Speaker A:

And I hope that as we're doing it and we're evolving and birthing ourselves, it is joyful.

Speaker A:

It's full of fun and laughter and smiles.

Speaker B:

Absolutely.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

We love that kind of stuff.

Speaker B:

So how about this one this week, guys?

Speaker B:

Word to the wise.

Speaker B:

Words to the wise.

Speaker B:

What do you think about this one?

Speaker B:

You know, this resonates with me big time here, right?

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker B:

A radical is someone with both feet firmly planted in the air.

Speaker A:

That would be me.

Speaker A:

It would be you.

Speaker D:

Does that mean you're upside down?

Speaker B:

That probably happens more times than not.

Speaker A:

As a matter of fact, you're one of my heroes.

Speaker A:

Who invites me to put my feet in the air and go sideways and go directions I never thought of.

Speaker A:

I appreciate that about you.

Speaker D:

You know what?

Speaker B:

We're just.

Speaker B:

We'll tumble in it together, gang.

Speaker B:

That's what it's all about, firmly.

Speaker D:

I love how it's firmly planted in the air.

Speaker B:

As much as I might be deceiving myself even just thinking I am, but I don't care.

Speaker B:

Okay, so.

Speaker B:

So those were some good words to the wise this week, gentlemen.

Speaker D:

I like it.

Speaker A:

He is decidedly unpredictable.

Speaker B:

True.

Speaker B:

Very true.

Speaker B:

Well, here we are.

Speaker B:

So the whole topic again.

Speaker B:

We're talking about sort of character qualities, attributes of God of the divine that we have.

Speaker B:

They're hardwired in us.

Speaker B:

It's not like you're going out there to find these things.

Speaker B:

And we just picked eight of them.

Speaker B:

We did four of them last week.

Speaker B:

There's lots more.

Speaker B:

So we're not trying to make this sound like it's a definitive list by any means, because that means we got God figured out, right?

Speaker D:

They could be dormant, it inactive, pushed down, forgotten, hidden.

Speaker D:

Forgotten.

Speaker D:

Hidden behind something else.

Speaker D:

Hidden behind that, you know, cactus plant you have over there.

Speaker D:

You just gotta go pull it out.

Speaker D:

It's there, though.

Speaker A:

So you're telling me if I'm a little prickly, there might be something that's asking for expression.

Speaker D:

I love it.

Speaker B:

I just get the clippers out, man.

Speaker B:

Don't worry.

Speaker B:

Okay, but it's, you know, here's the thing.

Speaker B:

I was thinking about this after last week's episode and we were talking last week, the four qualities we talked about last week were life, life, love, wisdom, wisdom and intelligence, okay?

Speaker B:

And in some regards, especially the life and love one, you know, that can get.

Speaker B:

It can cut it a little bit fluffy if you want to just kind of think about it that way, if that's the way it runs through your grid.

Speaker B:

But here's the thing, guys, gals, you know, we use the collective, guys, but this takes.

Speaker B:

If you're going to do this, if you're going to take to heart what we're talking about, you're going to.

Speaker B:

It's going to take courage, okay?

Speaker B:

I mean, there's no man be pamby stuff about this at all, man.

Speaker B:

You got to dig in and you got to be bold.

Speaker B:

You've got to have the courage that it's going to take to do the work, to do the cultivating and also stand firm in your belief and know you're transforming.

Speaker B:

I mean, this is not an easy thing.

Speaker B:

I mean, we're not trying to paint it out like rainbows and unicorns, right?

Speaker B:

No, it's not like that at all.

Speaker B:

Take the heart, take it to heart, do the work, okay?

Speaker D:

It'll be worth it.

Speaker B:

Well, yeah, yeah.

Speaker B:

And then, and it starts out with this idea if we take it from the Bible, but you know, you can, you can weave in just about any other faith tradition, and there has to be a creation somewhere.

Speaker B:

You know, every faith tradition has their idea about how we got here and where we came from, right?

Speaker B:

So, you know, in the Christian tradition, of course, very common out of Genesis, God said, let us make humanity, humanity and our image in our likeness.

Speaker B:

We've all heard that before.

Speaker B:

We're gonna, we're gonna take that as the truth, okay?

Speaker B:

We're driving a stake in the ground over that, that you have image and likeness.

Speaker B:

You have it, you don't need to go find it.

Speaker B:

You don't need to get it for something that you do or not.

Speaker A:

I'm gonna always step over the line a little Bit.

Speaker A:

You don't just have it.

Speaker A:

Yeah, you are it.

Speaker B:

Okay, I'll go with that.

Speaker B:

Yeah, you're right.

Speaker B:

You're right.

Speaker B:

You know, he'll correct me on that because it's a great perspective.

Speaker A:

And I like, this is my perspective.

Speaker A:

It's different than other people's, but it's the one.

Speaker A:

I put my stake in the ground.

Speaker B:

And I appreciate that.

Speaker B:

We talk about that.

Speaker B:

I mean, talk about the being in the doing.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

All the time.

Speaker D:

You know, that's right.

Speaker B:

So that was, you know, that's a common one.

Speaker B:

And then you have this verse out of Genesis 5 when it said Adam had lived 130 years and he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image, and he named him Seth.

Speaker B:

And so we just talked last week about how that brought it right home to Egypt.

Speaker B:

One of us, we birth likenesses to ourself.

Speaker B:

Whether you're.

Speaker B:

As a parent, I think it can still happen.

Speaker B:

Whether you're a physical parent of a child that, you know is a likeness or, you know, just you come into contact with people, your friends, you know, people you around you, you can still birth some of your likeness.

Speaker A:

You know, when we get together here for this podcast, we are birthing something.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

It's going to sound a little weird, but the three of us are giving birth to a child here.

Speaker A:

It's an idea.

Speaker D:

We need to be on the news.

Speaker D:

Three men giving bir.

Speaker A:

Three men and make a baby.

Speaker D:

You're right, though.

Speaker D:

I mean, you.

Speaker D:

Everyone is impacting somebody out there or people out there like me as a coach.

Speaker D:

Like, I know I'm impacting a lot of young athletes.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker D:

You know, I.

Speaker D:

I know it.

Speaker B:

So this happens.

Speaker B:

I mean, stuff's being birthed and likeness and image is being passed around all the time.

Speaker B:

Right?

Speaker B:

So just, you have to just, you have to realize that we're going to proclaim these things as true again.

Speaker B:

You can ponder that a little bit.

Speaker B:

You can think about it.

Speaker B:

You can decide whether it's true for you or not or whatever that your choice.

Speaker B:

But we're gonna.

Speaker B:

We're coming from the place that it's true for us for sure, and we believe it's true for everybody.

Speaker B:

But, I mean, you got to make up your own decision.

Speaker B:

But if you do believe they're true, you got to cultivate them.

Speaker B:

And it's a flow.

Speaker B:

Right?

Speaker B:

You cultivate them and then they flow out of you.

Speaker A:

They flow out of.

Speaker A:

You get to see the evidence of those thoughts, those feelings, those beliefs.

Speaker A:

Out here.

Speaker A:

Your children are either misbehaving Showing you what you want to see or not.

Speaker A:

We got to go back to the source.

Speaker A:

So as the kids are flowing from your mouth and from your experiences and expressions, you got to just look at the evidence.

Speaker A:

Do I like the flow or do I not like the flow?

Speaker B:

And who has, who has the power to change the flow?

Speaker A:

Oh, it comes back to me.

Speaker D:

We do.

Speaker D:

We do.

Speaker D:

Yeah, that's exactly.

Speaker D:

We do.

Speaker B:

That's it.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker B:

So, you know, no more excuses.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

They don't work.

Speaker A:

Can I blame God?

Speaker A:

Can I blame the devil?

Speaker A:

Can I blame you guys?

Speaker A:

Dang.

Speaker B:

I think we're going to talk about it in an upcoming episode.

Speaker B:

I think it's going to call it throwing a card.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker D:

So another way to say this.

Speaker D:

I know we've been talking using the words image and likeness, because that's what we read out of the Bible passage.

Speaker D:

Right, Right.

Speaker D:

Another way to say this are these are characteristics of, of God.

Speaker D:

Right.

Speaker D:

Of the creator.

Speaker D:

Of God.

Speaker D:

And so we're talking about eight of them.

Speaker D:

We talked four last week.

Speaker D:

Right, right.

Speaker D:

And then we're talking four more this week.

Speaker D:

Would it be okay if I say what the four are and then we'll go to the first one?

Speaker D:

Absolutely, let's do that.

Speaker D:

Because everybody knows what to expect.

Speaker B:

Sure.

Speaker D:

Right.

Speaker D:

So the next four are going to be peace, creativity, beauty and joy.

Speaker D:

So we're going to talk about peace first.

Speaker D:

All right.

Speaker D:

And the way I, I was kind of seeing this is I was trying to think what in my mind the opposite of, of peace might be.

Speaker D:

And, and it might be different for you and for you, Rogers out there, but to me, it was.

Speaker D:

The word that came to my mind was chaos, you know?

Speaker D:

All right, so.

Speaker D:

Because there really isn't peace in chaos.

Speaker D:

But there, there could be.

Speaker D:

There could be.

Speaker D:

There is.

Speaker D:

I know.

Speaker D:

I, I.

Speaker D:

There, There is.

Speaker A:

He's reading my mind.

Speaker D:

Y.

Speaker D:

If you've ever seen any movie, anytime when there's explosions going off all over the place, there's that one guy just walking and nothing's affecting him.

Speaker D:

Nothing is touching him.

Speaker D:

He is in, he's, he's peaceful in a state of chaos, which I believe we can be.

Speaker A:

I want to be that guy.

Speaker D:

Right, Right.

Speaker D:

So that's in the midst of.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker D:

So, so I know we're going to talk about, like, how do we do this?

Speaker D:

How do we, like, manifest peace in our life or may kinds of peace.

Speaker D:

Right.

Speaker D:

Like peace of mind, you've heard that phrase.

Speaker D:

And, or like, maybe spiritual, you know, like a piece of that goes, you know, beyond, like, your understanding that Kind of a thing.

Speaker D:

So what do you guys think?

Speaker A:

Well, I love that, though, you just said that piece that surpasses all understanding.

Speaker A:

You know, when you see somebody who's got total control and composure and poise in the midst of that chaos, not even with bombs that are physical bombs, but just emotional bombs going off everywhere, it doesn't make sense to the human ego because you cannot find that peace through the mind, through the ego.

Speaker A:

You've got to find it from a different part of yourself.

Speaker B:

Well, yeah.

Speaker B:

And, you know, we.

Speaker B:

We will use the overarching belief and perspective that says everything's spiritual.

Speaker B:

I mean, you know.

Speaker D:

Oh, yeah.

Speaker B:

There is a spiritual component to every single thing, because that's.

Speaker B:

Well, going on another thing about that.

Speaker B:

But God is in everything, right?

Speaker B:

So, you know, it's.

Speaker B:

It has to come.

Speaker B:

This greater than thing.

Speaker B:

It will not happen when your own power.

Speaker B:

I mean, it just won't.

Speaker B:

We're just not that we ain't got it going for us enough, you know, until we unleash that which it is part of us.

Speaker B:

The Zarev has said we are that.

Speaker A:

I love that.

Speaker A:

From the 12 step programs that talk about in of myself, I am powerless.

Speaker A:

If I'm trying to do it all myself, I'm not going to get to the promised land.

Speaker A:

I've got to find something beyond me and my capacity and my knowledge and my wisdom and that you can call it God.

Speaker A:

I don't care what you call it.

Speaker A:

You got to seek it.

Speaker A:

Something beyond your borders, right?

Speaker D:

So when I thought about this, I was trying to come up with and think of some actionable ways that we could develop this or be this piece.

Speaker D:

So here's just a couple that I know that I do.

Speaker D:

One of them is being present, right?

Speaker D:

Staying right here in this moment, not thinking about the past, not going to the future, just trying to be present.

Speaker D:

Because if you think about going to the opposite ends, going to the past or heading to the future, you know, that could really.

Speaker D:

It could stress people out.

Speaker D:

You know, you may not feel peace in that, but in the moment, I feel like there.

Speaker D:

There's peace there.

Speaker D:

So that.

Speaker D:

That's one.

Speaker D:

That's one way.

Speaker D:

Another way is like meditation.

Speaker D:

You know, prayer is another way to say it.

Speaker D:

Right?

Speaker D:

That's another way to do it.

Speaker D:

Like what I do in my wrestling practices for this is throughout the practice, I'll stop them and have them take three deep breaths.

Speaker D:

Right?

Speaker D:

Now, I'm not calling that meditation or prayer meditation.

Speaker D:

Well, but it's doing the same thing.

Speaker D:

Like it's centering them, it's getting them to this state of peace.

Speaker D:

So when I thought about this, I got to tell a story about my daughter.

Speaker D:

This is really, really great, really funny.

Speaker D:

So when she was younger, first of all, she has me as a parent and she has my wife who is a therapist, counselor.

Speaker D:

Right.

Speaker D:

So when you live in our household, you learn things like meditation, you know, like at a young age.

Speaker D:

So she must have been three or four years old.

Speaker D:

And we had taught her like how to deal with her emotions.

Speaker D:

Right.

Speaker D:

Young kids are trying to figure this out.

Speaker D:

So we kind of taught her how to, you know, how to kind of meditate, breathe.

Speaker D:

So I would catch her when things would happen.

Speaker D:

Like she would sit down, kind of cross her legs, and she would just kind of hold her hands in her lap and she would just look, close her eyes and she would look out and she would say, talk to peace.

Speaker D:

Talk to peace.

Speaker D:

And you know, what's the craziest thing?

Speaker D:

Like it would calm her down.

Speaker B:

It worked.

Speaker D:

So like when she was having, when there were things happening in her life, this is what she would do.

Speaker D:

And as a little like three year old, like I was cracking up.

Speaker D:

I was like, this is the best.

Speaker D:

So I, it's like I asked my wife, I'm like, did you come up with this?

Speaker D:

I'm like, I didn't come up with this.

Speaker D:

She kind of did it on her own.

Speaker D:

But imagine if you could do that like just as an adult.

Speaker D:

Like that's a young person who was doing that.

Speaker A:

I think sometimes I know some adults in my life that don't know how to talk to peace.

Speaker A:

They don't know the language, they don't know the energy.

Speaker A:

Right, right.

Speaker B:

Well, this, this is very elusive a lot of times because we're our own.

Speaker B:

What is it?

Speaker B:

We confronted the enemy and he is us.

Speaker B:

You know, I mean, it's true, you know?

Speaker A:

You know, I love what you talked about yesterday or tomorrow.

Speaker A:

God doesn't live in both those places.

Speaker A:

The only place that God exists and God has peace is in the now moment.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker A:

99% of all suffering is because somebody's living in the future or what happened in the past.

Speaker A:

And so that you have to cultivate that moment to moment breath.

Speaker A:

And that's what the breath does.

Speaker A:

The breath reminds the mind and the heart.

Speaker A:

I'm in a place of peace.

Speaker A:

I'm in a place of stillness and I'm existing right here, right now.

Speaker A:

That's when you find God.

Speaker B:

Well, this peace thing, and the world needs it.

Speaker B:

We need, it has to start within us.

Speaker B:

There's no doubt about that.

Speaker B:

And one of the litmus tests that I use as well when it comes to peace for me is I kind of use a measuring stick that says, how content am I?

Speaker B:

You know, and that's not a passive word by any means.

Speaker B:

It's just, am I good?

Speaker B:

You know, am I good?

Speaker A:

Is it possible to have peace and not be content?

Speaker A:

You know, I've been in as a human going, I'm feeling a little unrest.

Speaker A:

I don't feel contentment.

Speaker A:

But I can drop down into a different part of me that does have that.

Speaker A:

I guess contentment or peace or connection or whatever you might call it is kind of beyond words.

Speaker A:

I think it is possible to be feeling humanly, the unrest.

Speaker A:

And spiritually, go to the place where you might be hanging on a cross and you might be saying, forgive them.

Speaker A:

They don't know what they're doing.

Speaker B:

Well, we're so nuanced.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

There's all kinds of different flavors.

Speaker B:

And without a doubt, I think it's beautiful picture that says, we're all the above.

Speaker A:

And what's wonderful is you get to find your way.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

There you go.

Speaker A:

Each of us gets to find our own way.

Speaker D:

Right.

Speaker D:

It's unique because we're all beautiful, exotic cocktails.

Speaker A:

I want to do Sage's Way.

Speaker D:

Sage's Way is the best talk to peace.

Speaker D:

I love that.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Well, we've already spoken to the whole Bible verse of it being, you know, hearts and minds and greater than.

Speaker B:

So that comes out of Philippians 4 if you're a Christian or it's out of the Bible.

Speaker B:

We just wanted to tie it back in, just as.

Speaker B:

Again, as Paul in this case is talking about going beyond.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

Guarding your heart and your mind through the spiritual practice.

Speaker B:

Because again, if you're trying to do it like the Rev said by yourself, it just ain't gonna happen, guys.

Speaker B:

So.

Speaker B:

And.

Speaker B:

But at the same time, in order to do this, all this kind of stuff, we gotta get creative with how we approach it.

Speaker A:

Absolutely creative.

Speaker A:

You know, back to that.

Speaker A:

That scripture created in the image and after the likeness of God.

Speaker A:

God is creation itself.

Speaker A:

God is the Creator.

Speaker A:

We use these words to describe him.

Speaker A:

And if we're created in that image, that means we were born to be creative and we stifle God.

Speaker A:

Somebody puts walls up on boundaries and says, this is what you can do and what you can't do.

Speaker A:

And it starts at a very young age.

Speaker A:

Thank God Sage didn't have that.

Speaker A:

Go explore.

Speaker A:

Go adventure.

Speaker A:

Go explore the inner world and the outer world and create Something.

Speaker A:

And it may be odd, it may be weird to the rest of the world, but go do it.

Speaker A:

Because that's cooperating with the way you were created as creativity itself.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

So do you have enough confidence.

Speaker B:

Do you have enough confidence in yourself to be able to say, that's me, that's me.

Speaker B:

And I'm not.

Speaker B:

The trees aren't green to me.

Speaker B:

They're red.

Speaker B:

Okay?

Speaker B:

And I'm drawn a red tree because that's what I see.

Speaker D:

So.

Speaker D:

So wait a minute, guys.

Speaker D:

Wait a minute.

Speaker D:

Oh, God is.

Speaker D:

God is creative.

Speaker D:

Right?

Speaker D:

The Creator is creative.

Speaker B:

Look at the plan.

Speaker D:

And we are made in the image and likeness of God.

Speaker D:

So what does that mean?

Speaker D:

That means we are creative.

Speaker A:

It means that if we're not being creative, we're not.

Speaker A:

We're keeping an essence of God away from us.

Speaker A:

We're not cooperating with that, which.

Speaker A:

I thought I said the same thing a minute ago, but you're so much clearer than I am.

Speaker B:

Well, you know, God, don't make any mistakes.

Speaker A:

You know, I love teaching piano students and, you know, when we were stuck in the laws of, okay, here's the note, here's the meter, here's the way you got to do it.

Speaker A:

And there would be no joy on their face.

Speaker A:

And I would say, put the music aside.

Speaker A:

Let's improvise a little bit.

Speaker A:

Let's just bang on the piano.

Speaker A:

Now let's make that bang sound a little bit better.

Speaker A:

And it was messy and it was sloppy, but it was creative and it was fun.

Speaker A:

Every single time that kid would smile, it's like, wow, I'm making music.

Speaker A:

And I'm working with the good, the bad and the ugly as I do that, to get to the creation at the end, the piece of music.

Speaker A:

So when you teach kids to compose, and I started at age three and four doing this, wow, Find a peace and a joy and a God essence in the creativity.

Speaker A:

Because that's.

Speaker A:

That's what they were designed to do.

Speaker A:

And the same thing happens with paint.

Speaker A:

I miss finger painting.

Speaker A:

I love finger painting.

Speaker A:

When did I stop doing that?

Speaker A:

Because somebody said, you're not good at it, or that picture isn't good enough.

Speaker B:

Yeah, there's times I want the roguers.

Speaker A:

Out there to know.

Speaker A:

Somebody told you at some point you couldn't sing, you couldn't do music, you couldn't paint, you couldn't write.

Speaker A:

I'm saying put them out of your head.

Speaker A:

Banish them from the kingdom of your consciousness and go create and do something and trust it.

Speaker B:

You gotta trust yourself, you know, and the way that we would suggest that that happens is that, again, bringing the spiritual dynamic that gives you a peace, that gives you a confidence in yourself.

Speaker B:

And in the greater than that, you can be bold enough to kind of do these kinds of things and look at what's gonna happen, man.

Speaker B:

I mean, we talk about all the time, right?

Speaker B:

Go to the inside edge, boldly create.

Speaker A:

What no man or woman has ever created before.

Speaker D:

Let's unleash a little bit of unthinkable with creativity.

Speaker D:

You've been talking about it Rev music, and you mentioned art and thinking like writing books.

Speaker D:

I mean, there's a lot of creativity out there, right?

Speaker D:

But there's also creativity in relationships.

Speaker B:

You bet.

Speaker D:

I know it for a fact.

Speaker D:

As a coach, I have to be very creative to connect with some of the kids that I'm coaching.

Speaker D:

And you know, this rev, too, as you know, being a minister at a church, connecting with all different people.

Speaker D:

And there are no two people are the same, right?

Speaker A:

Yep.

Speaker A:

They're all beautiful, exotic cocktails with something unique to bring to the planet.

Speaker D:

So there's creativity in your relationships as.

Speaker B:

Well, in the midst of everything, you.

Speaker A:

Know, I lead a new thought church is what we call ourselves.

Speaker A:

And somebody said at one point, I think I might have repeated it, you know, we call ourselves new thought, but some of us haven't had a new thought in 10 years.

Speaker A:

So is it possible that creativity could be a new thought just entertaining a new idea that you never thought?

Speaker A:

Yeah, a new feeling.

Speaker A:

Let me just try it on for size.

Speaker A:

Like a new pair of shoes.

Speaker B:

Well, yep, we're gonna go to a little bit of a break right now, so be thinking about what you could create.

Speaker B:

You know, don't go.

Speaker B:

You know, don't go blowing up the kitchen or starting the house on fire or anything.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker B:

But begin to start to think a little bit outside your box, toward that inside edge that we talk about all the time.

Speaker B:

And we'll be back after a few.

Speaker B:

Just hang on a sec.

Speaker C:

Like what you hear so far.

Speaker C:

Now, let's get back to our wise Guys.

Speaker B:

All right, welcome back to the Wise Guys Podcast where this episode we are talking about your inner.

Speaker B:

Our inner divinity.

Speaker B:

And there are.

Speaker B:

If we're created in God's image, in his likeness, he or she in the Creator's image, then we have the same characteristics and qualities and abilities and everything else that the Creator who created us does.

Speaker B:

So these are really.

Speaker B:

This is a beautiful concept if you think about it and don't dismiss it too easily.

Speaker B:

So we're going to talk about the next one.

Speaker B:

We're going to lead into to beauty.

Speaker B:

But before I do that, I did want to do a little bit of a plug just to kind of let you guys out there know, you know, maybe what's coming up.

Speaker B:

You know, these are some things that are on I our planning board, some episodes.

Speaker B:

You know, you can kind of tweak you a little bit here.

Speaker A:

Juicy topics.

Speaker B:

Juicy topics.

Speaker B:

So how about, you know, we're certainly going to talk about at some point here in the near future, the Bible.

Speaker B:

And you know, we're not going to do a Bible study, but, you know, we're going to give some framing around, you know, that beautiful book and how, you know, there are different ways to look at it.

Speaker B:

How about just throwing the card?

Speaker B:

We talked about this a little earlier, but whether it's in religion or faith or just human interaction, there are many times when we just want to, quote, throw the card to think it's going to end the conversation and we can move on.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker B:

Because it just, it just diminishes and quiets down and gives you the answer.

Speaker B:

And we do it all the time, you know, and it's going to be interesting when we talk through that.

Speaker B:

How about a little bit of practical mysticism?

Speaker B:

You know, we've talked about being a mystic.

Speaker B:

We've talked about a lot of the other different kinds of things, but a lot of times people just think that's out there.

Speaker B:

Oh, my gosh, it's the guru on top of the mountain kind of mysticism.

Speaker B:

It's a beautiful thing and it's very practical and it can be practical.

Speaker B:

So we'll share some of those thoughts.

Speaker B:

And then coming up here, just talked to a super interesting guy this last week.

Speaker B:

He just wrote a new book and we chatted a little bit about him and his philosophy and kind of the way he looks at God and faith and religion.

Speaker B:

And we really had a great conversation.

Speaker B:

I think you guys are going to love hearing from him and his perspective.

Speaker B:

So these are just some of the things that are coming or tweak you a little bit, kind of interest you.

Speaker B:

Just.

Speaker B:

So stay in there.

Speaker D:

I love it.

Speaker D:

Looking forward to all of those.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

So it's beautiful.

Speaker D:

Yeah, right yeah.

Speaker D:

So another characteristic of.

Speaker D:

Of God is beauty.

Speaker D:

And.

Speaker D:

And this one seems kind of obvious, doesn't it?

Speaker D:

Like, you know, there's.

Speaker D:

There's so much beauty around us.

Speaker D:

I mean, in nature, especially people.

Speaker D:

I mean, obviously there's.

Speaker D:

There's a lot of beautiful.

Speaker D:

You know, everyone's beautiful in my mind, in the world, but there's.

Speaker D:

You know, I knew there'd be a song in there somewhere.

Speaker B:

Ray Stevens, who was gonna say that?

Speaker A:

Yeah, I think.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker D:

Well, there's.

Speaker D:

There is beauty in.

Speaker D:

In everything.

Speaker D:

And some of the things I was thinking of when.

Speaker D:

When I thought about something I might say you know, that was beautiful is like the.

Speaker D:

The giggle or laugh of, like a little baby.

Speaker D:

Isn't that the best?

Speaker D:

Like, that's a beautiful thing to me.

Speaker D:

Like, you know, the.

Speaker D:

The.

Speaker D:

You know, I'm an animal person.

Speaker D:

The wag of a dog's tail, or when that.

Speaker D:

That.

Speaker D:

That dog just cannot get enough of you when you come home.

Speaker D:

I mean, that is the best.

Speaker D:

That is a beautiful.

Speaker D:

It's a beautiful.

Speaker D:

And here.

Speaker D:

Here's the thing.

Speaker D:

Like, a lot of times when you think of beauty, you think of what you're visually seeing, but I think there's beauty in feelings, too.

Speaker D:

And what you're feeling, well, that's a great perspective.

Speaker B:

I like that a lot.

Speaker A:

It's beauty and consciousness.

Speaker A:

You know, they say beauty is in the Baha'I of the beholder, and you have to be a beholder who's looking for it.

Speaker A:

You have to seek beauty.

Speaker A:

And I always say people who are looking for ugliness will find it.

Speaker A:

And people who are looking for beauty will also find that it starts internally.

Speaker A:

I'm looking for what's good and holy and sacred in this world and in the person in front of me.

Speaker B:

Well, you know, that changes everything.

Speaker B:

You know, this is a bias.

Speaker B:

This is a worldview that we're talking about now that we begin to adopt.

Speaker B:

You can stick whatever word you in there, goodness, or, you know, when you're looking or your eyes just naturally gravitate to the beautiful and the good.

Speaker B:

And again, it's not because this is what we've been told beauty looks like.

Speaker B:

It's what resonates deeply in our heart at the very core.

Speaker B:

Like Stu was saying, it's relationships, it's feelings.

Speaker B:

It's all the above.

Speaker B:

The minute you try to compartmentalize it, oh, that's beautiful.

Speaker B:

But that's ugly.

Speaker B:

Could I use that word or not?

Speaker B:

We've already messed up.

Speaker A:

Well, nine times out of ten, what's okay, the beautiful people over here, the ugly people over there.

Speaker A:

Somebody told us this is a generational handing it down.

Speaker A:

These are the good people, these are the bad people.

Speaker A:

And we just inherited, took it on as our own.

Speaker A:

And I'm just saying, just try it on for size.

Speaker A:

Not just your seeing, but you're hearing.

Speaker A:

Listen for something beautiful.

Speaker A:

Listen for the evidence that there's good behind what's being spoken in front of you in that moment in the relationship.

Speaker B:

Sure.

Speaker A:

Close your eyes, close your eyes, close your ears and listen carefully.

Speaker A:

The beauty in you that you haven't discovered yet, it's everywhere.

Speaker B:

Well, that's a realization right there.

Speaker B:

That's super important.

Speaker D:

Look in the mirror.

Speaker D:

Look in the mirror, you know, see your beauty.

Speaker B:

Even if you're having a bad hair day.

Speaker A:

Man, how many of us get up in the morning instead of saying good morning, God say, good God, it's morning.

Speaker A:

We look in the mirror and go, oh my God, I'm every bit of those years.

Speaker B:

Yeah, I've been known to do that a time or two.

Speaker B:

But we can find it as to us and in all sorts of different places, but we use this terminology and have used it for years.

Speaker B:

Get your antennas up, you know, get your awareness level, right.

Speaker B:

Take the blinders and get them off so that you're not just so, you know, focused on the normal, the everyday.

Speaker B:

The stuff that you repeat over and over and over again.

Speaker B:

You know, you need to open up and you need to be conscious because, boy, I'll tell you, when we started, all of us, all three of us, and we're not again.

Speaker B:

We never say we've arrived.

Speaker B:

But, you know, I know how my life turned around as I begin to take this on more and more and more.

Speaker B:

That stuff and people and experiences and aha, moments and beauty and this.

Speaker B:

I mean, it just all.

Speaker B:

It just.

Speaker B:

You can't even plan it.

Speaker B:

You can't plan that stuff.

Speaker B:

I mean, you just can't do it.

Speaker B:

But it's so great because now I'm experiencing what I think God has created us for.

Speaker B:

You know, why we're even here?

Speaker B:

I don't know.

Speaker B:

It just.

Speaker B:

There's my contentment.

Speaker A:

Hey, Matt.

Speaker D:

It's a beautiful.

Speaker D:

Guys, it's a beautiful thing.

Speaker A:

So is my.

Speaker A:

Is my ability to see.

Speaker A:

It is a beautiful thing.

Speaker A:

It's an amazing, beautiful thing.

Speaker A:

Does the peace come from the consciousness to seek the beauty as I seek the good, the holy, the sacred, the good and the beauty?

Speaker A:

I have more peace.

Speaker D:

Wow.

Speaker D:

So, Rev, bringing it all together.

Speaker B:

That's right.

Speaker B:

He's saying it's all Connected.

Speaker A:

And then when I'm more peaceful, I can be more creative.

Speaker D:

Oh, boy, that's probably true.

Speaker B:

Are you guys watching a video out there?

Speaker B:

He's bouncing around in his chair over here.

Speaker B:

Okay, this is great.

Speaker B:

I have joy, joy, joy, joy in my heart.

Speaker B:

I think there's a song like that, too, in church.

Speaker B:

No, please, let's not do that.

Speaker B:

But you know, the thing is, it's a great point to bring up, because we talked about it last week, that these things don't exist in a linear fashion.

Speaker A:

They're not isolated.

Speaker B:

It's impossible.

Speaker B:

All right?

Speaker B:

That as you experience one, as you cultivate one, as you learn about one, as you incorporate one, it affects the others.

Speaker B:

And so they all start happening all at the same time.

Speaker D:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker B:

You know, I mean, it's just.

Speaker B:

Golly, you're going to step back from it and you're going to go, what do we always say?

Speaker B:

Strap in, man.

Speaker D:

That's right.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

So, yeah, so that's.

Speaker B:

That's the beauty there.

Speaker B:

So, you know, we can find it.

Speaker B:

And here's what I love about beauty, too.

Speaker B:

If you look at a flower, is it beautiful?

Speaker B:

Here's a.

Speaker B:

Here's a Cohen.

Speaker B:

Right, Right.

Speaker B:

Is it beautiful if nobody observes it?

Speaker D:

Oh, interesting.

Speaker D:

I'm going to say yes, because God created in.

Speaker D:

In my mind, God created the flower, and what God creates is beautiful.

Speaker D:

Everything that goes back to the question.

Speaker A:

We asked at the last episode.

Speaker A:

A gift doesn't have to be received.

Speaker A:

No, it does not.

Speaker A:

It just has to be given.

Speaker A:

And there it is.

Speaker B:

All right, so the consensus here seems to be, regardless of whether you're looking at it or not or anybody's looking at it, it's still made in the image and likeness of God, and it's beautiful.

Speaker D:

Yeah, Right.

Speaker D:

That includes you.

Speaker A:

Well, yeah, I guess I want to get that out there.

Speaker A:

To anybody who's listening today, you may have been discounted by the world that does not see you, maybe walks by you and doesn't even notice how amazing you are.

Speaker A:

It does not have any power over you when you know the truth that you are worthy, valuable, respected, and important and beautiful.

Speaker B:

Yes.

Speaker D:

That is such an important point, Rev.

Speaker D:

And you know what?

Speaker D:

You can see you.

Speaker D:

And when you see you, others will be able to see you.

Speaker D:

Does that make sense?

Speaker B:

I mean, it's part of it.

Speaker B:

Yes.

Speaker B:

That's a beautiful statement.

Speaker B:

I love that we'd say, when you see you, other people can see you.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Is that what I heard?

Speaker B:

Oh, I like it.

Speaker D:

It could be a meme.

Speaker B:

And up until that Point.

Speaker A:

All anybody's seeing is the manufacturer version of what you think they can handle.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I'm only showing the world what I think is beautiful about me.

Speaker A:

And if I don't think I'm beautiful, they're getting nothing.

Speaker A:

So they're really getting a false image of who I am because I haven't seen the image of who I truly am inside.

Speaker A:

Now, that gets a little complicated.

Speaker A:

The more I see myself as beautiful, the more beautiful I will be to others.

Speaker A:

The more I know it for myself without their validation, the more I'll be validated.

Speaker D:

Just.

Speaker D:

I love this and just know, just know people out there.

Speaker D:

You are a child of God who is beautifully and wonderfully made.

Speaker B:

I think that's in the Bible, too.

Speaker D:

Yep, it is.

Speaker B:

Very cool.

Speaker B:

Well, you know, another thing that came up to me in this.

Speaker B:

This.

Speaker B:

This section, if you will, this characteristic called beauty.

Speaker B:

We've talked about this in the past, but I don't want to.

Speaker B:

I don't want to get past this without talking about.

Speaker B:

As we're talking about ourselves, we're talking about looking in a mirror.

Speaker B:

You know, a lot of us will look in the mirror, and what we will see is we will not see the beauty.

Speaker B:

We will see the dragon.

Speaker B:

And every single one of us has a dragon.

Speaker B:

And I think I've told my story on this several times.

Speaker B:

Maybe not on the podcast much, but when I had to confront, for real, my dragon and learn to love the dragon, that dragon.

Speaker B:

Let's put it this way.

Speaker B:

That is a very beautiful dragon.

Speaker B:

Okay?

Speaker B:

Because it's part of you, and it's part of what God made.

Speaker B:

You may have some work to do on it.

Speaker B:

You may have some things you need to massage on it.

Speaker B:

But the bottom line is, the minute that's ugly.

Speaker B:

Now, we have created dualism inside of ourself, and that's never anywhere God wants to take us.

Speaker D:

So, you know what you just had me realize, Mac, and thank you for helping me to realize this.

Speaker D:

God doesn't do anything by accident.

Speaker D:

Everything's on purpose.

Speaker D:

Which means you are exactly the way you you're supposed to be and who you are.

Speaker A:

So I'm gonna throw over to the movie guy over there.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

One of my favorite movies, and I just cry every time I've seen it, is the Elephant Man.

Speaker D:

Oh, yeah.

Speaker A:

By the world's definitions, was ugly and grotesque and was one of the most beautiful souls on the planet.

Speaker D:

Right.

Speaker A:

So again, it's somebody else's definition of what physical beauty is, of what spiritual beauty is, or what.

Speaker A:

What artistic beauty is.

Speaker A:

It's all of.

Speaker A:

It's all beautiful.

Speaker A:

Can we get to the point where we have the eyes, the ears, the heart and the soul to go.

Speaker A:

God's kingdom is beautiful, period.

Speaker A:

Even the.

Speaker A:

Even the ugly parts.

Speaker A:

And that's.

Speaker A:

That's going to confront a little bit within me because I see ugliness in the world that I don't like.

Speaker A:

Can I seek beneath the surface and find some kind of good to nurture and to tend that garden even when it's ugly on the outside?

Speaker D:

Yeah, you just have to choose to look for it.

Speaker B:

It's a tough perspective sometimes.

Speaker D:

I mean, that's.

Speaker D:

That's.

Speaker D:

It can be that simple.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker D:

You just have to choose to look for it.

Speaker B:

Well, somebody came to my mind as Stu was talking about the God that.

Speaker B:

Here's a statement that I heard years and years ago, but I haven't heard it in a long time, and that says that it ever occurred to you.

Speaker B:

Did it ever occur to you that nothing's ever occurred to God?

Speaker D:

That's good.

Speaker D:

I like that.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Hello.

Speaker B:

Okay, let me see here.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker B:

I think I'll make a coach stew.

Speaker B:

I don't know.

Speaker B:

Let me think about it.

Speaker B:

Oh, good idea.

Speaker B:

So anyway, beauty.

Speaker B:

We've talked about peace, we've talked about creativity, we've talked about beauty.

Speaker B:

And of course, we can't leave out another just incredibly beautiful characteristic and attribute of God, and that's joy.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

Terre des Chardin, forgive my pronunciation, said that joy is the infallible sign of the presence of God.

Speaker A:

And so when God is present and I'm connected and I'm united and anchored in that place, I am naturally joyful, and so joyful.

Speaker A:

When I'm joyful, there's the awareness that I am consciously aware of my connection to the universe, to the cosmos.

Speaker A:

And when I'm not joyful, God's missing.

Speaker A:

God's missing from my consciousness, not from my life, because God's always there.

Speaker A:

But this idea of dancing through life, of singing through life, it is possible.

Speaker A:

And I know this firsthand because I grew up in an environment where.

Speaker A:

Yeah, you.

Speaker A:

It was easy to find the negative, easy to find the ugly, easy to call out what wasn't working.

Speaker A:

And when I began to have a switch because somebody knocked me upside the head and said, why don't you look for something good, even if it's small?

Speaker A:

I began to be a lot happier.

Speaker A:

Human being.

Speaker B:

Well, yeah.

Speaker A:

And what I recognize could be elusive.

Speaker A:

You know, the difference between happiness and joy?

Speaker A:

Two very different things.

Speaker A:

Happiness is all circumstantial.

Speaker A:

It's all about, well, I'm happy because things are working out here.

Speaker A:

Joy is relational.

Speaker A:

I know who I am.

Speaker B:

That's a great point.

Speaker A:

I know where I'm going.

Speaker A:

I know what I'm about.

Speaker A:

I know what I'm connected to.

Speaker A:

So it could be ugly out here, but I see beauty only because I'm connected to something.

Speaker A:

I'm relating to the presence of the spirit which is underneath all of it.

Speaker B:

Don't go to this place.

Speaker B:

Don't go to this place to think that that's like rose colored glasses, Pollyanna kind of way to look at stuff.

Speaker B:

Okay?

Speaker B:

It's not.

Speaker B:

It's way harder to grasp that and believe it and take it in as the truth than it is to just go, oh, well that's, you know, that sounds good, but.

Speaker A:

And it doesn't happen overnight, let me tell you.

Speaker A:

It is the hardest course I've ever taken in seminary, in college, in life.

Speaker B:

Is learn the joy course.

Speaker A:

Yeah, the joy course is.

Speaker B:

It's, it's.

Speaker A:

And it's a marathon.

Speaker A:

It's not a 50 yard dash.

Speaker A:

Well, suddenly I'm joyful.

Speaker A:

I change my mind.

Speaker A:

No, no, no.

Speaker B:

It's.

Speaker A:

It's doing one thought, one idea, one action, doing something differently.

Speaker A:

Being creative, finding the peace over and over.

Speaker A:

It's the cultivation again.

Speaker A:

You cultivate it.

Speaker B:

Yes.

Speaker B:

You got to do the what, Stu?

Speaker B:

You got to do the work.

Speaker D:

Do the work.

Speaker B:

You got to practice, coach.

Speaker D:

Got to practice, Coach.

Speaker D:

Stu, coaches talking.

Speaker D:

You got to practice.

Speaker D:

You know, the joy to me is.

Speaker D:

It's an energy.

Speaker D:

Right?

Speaker D:

So in our pre show chat, I asked the rev and Mac, I said, don't you want to be that guy?

Speaker D:

When you walk in the room, like, everybody feels awesome.

Speaker D:

It feels great.

Speaker D:

And they're like.

Speaker D:

And they don't even know why, but it's just.

Speaker D:

You enter the room and you're just exuding joy, you know, I mean, how, how cool would it be to just be that person all the time?

Speaker A:

Contagious.

Speaker A:

We talked about this last week at the episode that somebody who comes into the room without saying anything doesn't do anything.

Speaker A:

But the joy quotient goes up.

Speaker D:

It goes up.

Speaker A:

Oh, something's different.

Speaker A:

It feels good.

Speaker A:

So you're infecting people.

Speaker B:

Joy.

Speaker A:

Joy is contagious.

Speaker B:

Yes.

Speaker D:

Now we gotta imagine that's it's real.

Speaker D:

And we, and we have to acknowledge just for a quick second that you could do the opposite.

Speaker D:

Oh, yeah, right.

Speaker D:

Just to be aware of it, you know, you could be the opposite.

Speaker A:

You could bring it all down.

Speaker D:

You could Bring it all down.

Speaker D:

But you know, we're talking about joy.

Speaker D:

And you know what?

Speaker D:

To me, talking about all these characteristics, joy is like the anchor.

Speaker D:

Like all of these equate to joy, right?

Speaker D:

Like we talked life about life and love and wisdom, intelligence, peace, creativity, like beauty, like all of those lead to joy to me.

Speaker D:

Like, for me.

Speaker D:

So this, to me, joy is like the anchor of these, of these characteristics.

Speaker B:

I mean, it's the evidence as well.

Speaker A:

You ever gone to bed at night and you just have a smile on your face?

Speaker A:

You just catch yourself, you're thinking, it's like I'm smiling as I go to bed.

Speaker A:

It's because I lived all these things, all these, these pistons that we talked about.

Speaker A:

These divine ideas are connected.

Speaker A:

I was firing on all cylinders today.

Speaker A:

And I'm going to bed full of joy.

Speaker D:

That's what I.

Speaker D:

That's when I get in trouble for my wife.

Speaker D:

That's exactly what you're gonna say.

Speaker A:

What kind of smile is that?

Speaker D:

Yeah, like, what are you thinking about right now?

Speaker B:

What are you up to?

Speaker D:

What's going on over there?

Speaker B:

We were right on the same page with that man.

Speaker B:

So this has been so cool.

Speaker B:

I mean, again, eight.

Speaker B:

We used eight.

Speaker B:

It could be 80.

Speaker B:

All right.

Speaker B:

I mean, don't.

Speaker B:

We're not gonna limit the Is all right.

Speaker B:

By any means with trying to des.

Speaker B:

Finitely.

Speaker B:

Right?

Speaker A:

Go to the website and tell us what it is for you.

Speaker A:

We want to know.

Speaker B:

Just go ahead, put some comments out there.

Speaker B:

Do it on our website.

Speaker B:

Do it.

Speaker B:

Do it on Facebook for our webpage or our Facebook page.

Speaker B:

But the big thing is, as we're wrapping this whole thing up, you know, the first thing you got to do is you got to realize.

Speaker B:

And then you got to reproduce these things within yourself.

Speaker B:

You know, it.

Speaker B:

It makes a difference not only to you, but to the.

Speaker B:

To the others and to the world.

Speaker B:

It will expand your consciousness and free of sacredness within you.

Speaker B:

I mean, there's.

Speaker B:

We are sacred.

Speaker B:

We have a deep seated sacredness created by the Creator.

Speaker B:

It's beautiful.

Speaker B:

We just gotta let more of it out.

Speaker B:

It'll enhance your spiritual poise.

Speaker B:

And I say that.

Speaker B:

It's kind of a nebulous kind of term.

Speaker B:

But, you know, when somebody has poise, you know, when somebody has spiritual poise, I mean, it's.

Speaker B:

We were just talking about it.

Speaker B:

They walk into the room kind of thing, right?

Speaker B:

You just know it.

Speaker B:

You want to sit at their feet, you're willing to listen.

Speaker B:

They emanate.

Speaker B:

It's beautiful.

Speaker B:

You want to be one of those kind of people.

Speaker A:

Be the kind of person you want to hang out with.

Speaker B:

That's it.

Speaker B:

Okay?

Speaker B:

And, you know, give others an example to follow.

Speaker B:

That's what Jesus did.

Speaker B:

He said, come, follow me and emulate me.

Speaker B:

You know, we can do the same thing.

Speaker D:

Yeah, right, guys, that's important because as I.

Speaker D:

As I always say, people are always watching.

Speaker B:

That's right.

Speaker B:

They're always.

Speaker D:

So give them a good example while they're watching.

Speaker B:

So be the joy.

Speaker B:

Yeah, be the joy.

Speaker D:

There it is.

Speaker D:

Oh, here we go.

Speaker D:

I always feel like I'm way up high in the air when I hear this.

Speaker D:

I feel like I'm like on some mountain or walking a tightrope.

Speaker D:

If that's your mission, on the wing of a plane.

Speaker B:

If that's your mission, man, go on it, so to speak.

Speaker B:

Decide to go rogue.

Speaker B:

This is your mission.

Speaker B:

Find Like Minded again.

Speaker B:

Everything we've been talking about here, they're out there because they're created just like you were created.

Speaker B:

Then you got to strap on the armor.

Speaker B:

That belief that you are these things, it grounds you.

Speaker B:

It keeps you solid.

Speaker B:

When there are things that want to go against it, then you got to kind of storm the gates first.

Speaker B:

When your own mind that.

Speaker B:

The thinking, the stinking thinking that you have about a lot of this stuff about the world, about your biases, all that stuff, you've got to storm that gate and be willing to knock it down.

Speaker B:

And then what you get to do once that happens, you get to what?

Speaker D:

Unleash the unthinkable.

Speaker B:

Unleash the unthinkable.

Speaker B:

Because a lot of this stuff might be unthinkable for you, but don't let it be right.

Speaker B:

Share it with others, internalize it.

Speaker B:

Take it to heart.

Speaker B:

And I'm telling you right now, it's going to change your life.

Speaker B:

It certainly has.

Speaker B:

I know for us.

Speaker B:

I love to see these examples that the guys have.

Speaker B:

Have given us tonight.

Speaker B:

And we hope you've benefited by it as well.

Speaker A:

If you spot it, you got it.

Speaker A:

So you got it, my friend.

Speaker A:

And every Roguer has it.

Speaker B:

There we go.

Speaker D:

So true.

Speaker B:

There it is.

Speaker B:
