Okay, this is where I'm going.

Speaker A:

You ready?

Speaker B:

You ready?

Speaker C:

Okay, I'm ready.

Speaker C:

Let's do it.

Speaker C:

All right.

Speaker C:

Welcome to the Wise Guys, where we unleash the unthinkable, see things differently, and shatter the norms to help you expand your worldview.

Speaker C:

But that comes at a price, gang, okay?

Speaker C:

It just might change everything.

Speaker C:

So strap in.

Speaker C:

We love to say that, don't we, guys?

Speaker C:

We love to say that.

Speaker C:

So what are we talking about tonight, guys?

Speaker A:

Prosperity.

Speaker B:

Abundance.

Speaker C:

Abundance.

Speaker C:

Prosperity.

Speaker C:

Oh, this is going to be a good one, man.

Speaker C:

This is going to be a good one.

Speaker C:

So, hi, I'm Mac, and I'm your host.

Speaker C:

And in this episode, yes, we're going to talk about prosperity, but it won't be looking at God as the cosmic gumball machine with the source of all things.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

You don't get to just walk up, put the quarter in, turn the knob, and you get the prize.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

It just.

Speaker C:

It's a little more complicated, but.

Speaker C:

And then again, it's not.

Speaker C:

All right, so we're going to flesh that out.

Speaker C:

We're going to talk about it.

Speaker C:

So.

Speaker C:

Got my wise guys, man.

Speaker C:

I got the coach, too.

Speaker C:

He's in the house.

Speaker C:

Hey, man.

Speaker C:

Hey, brother.

Speaker A:

Good to see you guys.

Speaker A:

Love being here.

Speaker C:

Absolutely.

Speaker A:

So fun.

Speaker A:

So fun.

Speaker C:

Yes, it is.

Speaker C:

And rev, man.

Speaker B:

Present and accounted for, sir.

Speaker B:

Here.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker C:

All right.

Speaker C:

He's prospering, sir.

Speaker C:

Yes, he's prospering over here already.

Speaker C:

I love it.

Speaker B:

Okay, I'm ready to tear into that whole vending machine gun.

Speaker B:

Some people teach.

Speaker C:

There we go.

Speaker A:

Hey, before we get started, let me say hello to all you beautiful, exotic cocktails out there.

Speaker B:

Hello.

Speaker C:

I love that.

Speaker A:

And.

Speaker A:

And we.

Speaker A:

I haven't said this in a while, but that means you're unique.

Speaker A:

That's all that means.

Speaker A:

That's a fun way to say it.

Speaker C:

Well, some of us have umbrellas.

Speaker C:

Some of us have cherries.

Speaker C:

Some of us have oranges in there.

Speaker C:

Some of us have.

Speaker A:

As it should be.

Speaker C:

Whatever.

Speaker C:

Right?

Speaker C:

I.

Speaker C:

Absolutely.

Speaker C:

So, yeah, I was on it's on a cruise last week, and I certainly got to sample enough.

Speaker A:

A lot of exotic cocktails on the cruise.

Speaker C:

Yes, for sure.

Speaker C:

Just people watch.

Speaker C:

Oh, my gosh.

Speaker C:

Oh, me.

Speaker C:

All right, so it's time.

Speaker C:

Is every week we do some words to the wise.

Speaker C:

Yes.

Speaker C:

Is that correct?

Speaker C:

All right, how about this one this week?

Speaker B:

Bring them on.

Speaker B:

You will?

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Well, I'm gonna sit at his feet here.

Speaker C:

I'm gonna let them.

Speaker C:

Let the rev have it, man.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

Your ears aren't quite big enough, though.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

You know, you gotta have some bigger ears there.

Speaker C:

All right.

Speaker C:

And you're not green.

Speaker A:

I was gonna say.

Speaker A:

Thank goodness he's not green.

Speaker A:

Trash can.

Speaker B:

It's not easy being green.

Speaker C:

Oh, geez.

Speaker C:

All right, we gotta.

Speaker C:

We gotta reel these guys in already.

Speaker C:

Here we go.

Speaker C:

Words to the wise.

Speaker C:

Every Goliath needs five stones.

Speaker C:

All right?

Speaker A:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker C:

So think about that for a second.

Speaker C:

Hopefully you understand the story.

Speaker C:

I'll give you a little background in case you're not familiar with the story from the new through in the Old Testament, the Jewish Bible.

Speaker C:

So Goliath was this big guy.

Speaker C:

He was a giant for the most part, right?

Speaker C:

Compared to everybody else.

Speaker C:

And he was taunting the Israelites when they were doing battle.

Speaker C:

And little old David, who's just a little nothing, you know, kind of shepherd guy, says he'll go out there and stand against the big guy because nobody else would, all right?

Speaker C:

None of the warriors, none of his brothers, nobody would go out.

Speaker C:

And David said, you can't insult God like that.

Speaker C:

I'm going out there.

Speaker C:

Right?

Speaker C:

And before he went out, he had a sling, right?

Speaker C:

You know, and he picked up five.

Speaker A:

Stones, five smooth stones, right?

Speaker C:

And he put him in his little, you know, sack right there.

Speaker C:

And he went out and with one, you know, with one wing at it, right?

Speaker C:

With one shot, it hit Goliath right between the eyes.

Speaker B:

So David only needed one stone.

Speaker C:

He only needed one, okay?

Speaker C:

But at the same time, he brought five, just in case, right?

Speaker C:

But some people will tell the story, and there's two different kinds of Goliaths in the Bible.

Speaker C:

Some will say that he picked up five because Goliath had brothers as well, okay?

Speaker C:

And so he was gonna also, you know, they were going to get mad that he killed him and, you know, he was going to have to stand against them.

Speaker C:

But.

Speaker C:

But I thought it was just.

Speaker C:

I thought it was a great story that, you know, every Goliath needs, you know, the big things.

Speaker C:

The Goliath that we have in our life, the seemingly insurmountables, right?

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Sometimes, you know, we.

Speaker C:

We talk about this at the end, about the MI5 stuff that we give you at the end of the stories, you know, you're going to need some stones.

Speaker C:

I mean, whatever they are, all right?

Speaker C:

It doesn't have to be projected.

Speaker B:

There are those that teach that the stones, the five stones are the five senses, okay?

Speaker B:

You are gathering information to conquer those giants within you.

Speaker B:

That just needs.

Speaker C:

That's a good way to look.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

If you look at it metaphorically, I think, from the story, right?

Speaker C:

Absolutely.

Speaker C:

Ok.

Speaker C:

And I think that's what we're going to do tonight in this episode.

Speaker C:

What a great lead in Rev.

Speaker C:

We are going to look at something that we might think is obvious and the way we've always looked at it and the commonality that we see in prosperity.

Speaker C:

And yet, just like the Rev just did, there's other ways to look at it.

Speaker C:

There's other ways to apply it that can really even enhance, I think, and help you prosper even more.

Speaker C:

We talked about that in pre show, where there's a flow involved with this thing.

Speaker C:

So as you prosper and you're doing it right, you will.

Speaker C:

It's a flow that to me is.

Speaker B:

The whole idea of turn the other cheek.

Speaker B:

Look a different way.

Speaker B:

You might be missing something.

Speaker B:

So look the other direction and.

Speaker B:

Oh, right.

Speaker B:

I didn't know that was here all the time.

Speaker B:

When it comes to prosperity, my good was here, but I was looking the wrong direction.

Speaker C:

Yeah, exactly.

Speaker C:

That's a.

Speaker A:

Well, I think there's also a lesson to be learned about preparation.

Speaker A:

Like being prepared, being ready.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

Like, that's how I see the five stones.

Speaker A:

Like he was.

Speaker A:

He was preparing for more than one battle.

Speaker A:

He didn't know.

Speaker C:

Right, right.

Speaker A:

He could have had more than one.

Speaker A:

Like, as you said, his brothers could have come out.

Speaker A:

Who knows?

Speaker B:

You know, some stones can be jagged, but when do they get smooth?

Speaker A:

When they're in water.

Speaker B:

When they're in water, they're being worked.

Speaker B:

They're being worked.

Speaker B:

Or they're in your hand.

Speaker B:

You know, you can put some stones in a tumbler, and it's being worked.

Speaker B:

So maybe the smoothness of that story represents rehearsal.

Speaker A:

Wait, Practice, Practice.

Speaker A:

Let me.

Speaker C:

Let me like that word.

Speaker C:

I know.

Speaker A:

Did I hear this correct?

Speaker A:

Rev, you can pick up jagged stones and make them smooth in your hand.

Speaker B:

Let me do it long enough.

Speaker A:

Holy cow.

Speaker B:

You might need a tool or two.

Speaker A:

I'm so glad you're my friend.

Speaker A:

I need you on my side.

Speaker B:

Don't mess with me.

Speaker C:

I can see him putting those rough stones and just kind of doing this.

Speaker C:

I'm seeing all of it falling from his hands.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker A:

Sounds like a Mr.

Speaker A:

Miyagi thing.

Speaker A:

I need.

Speaker A:

I need to know that trick.

Speaker A:

I could use it in wrestling.

Speaker C:

Well, we all got Goliaths.

Speaker C:

Yeah, right.

Speaker C:

We all got him in our.

Speaker A:

All got big challenges.

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker C:

What?

Speaker C:

Yeah, that's right.

Speaker C:

What are we doing?

Speaker C:

And how are we looking at them?

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker C:

And what are we using to.

Speaker C:

Whether it's combat them or deal with them or even transform them.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker C:

On what it might be.

Speaker C:

There's all kinds of different applications for this.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker A:

You can't escape having challenges in your life no matter what you do.

Speaker B:

I tried for years and years.

Speaker B:

They kept catching up with me.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

You cannot outrun them.

Speaker A:

Good point.

Speaker A:

Good point.

Speaker A:

You can't outrun them.

Speaker C:

Well, to me, the secret is just make sure you're falling forward gracefully.

Speaker A:

There you go.

Speaker C:

That's all.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Make sure you're falling on smooth stones.

Speaker C:

Well, so.

Speaker C:

Yeah, I'd love to do that.

Speaker C:

All right, so here we are.

Speaker C:

Prosperity.

Speaker C:

And so maybe a common definition.

Speaker C:

If you go in, you know, the dictionary and you look up prosper, which, you know is the root word to succeed in an enterprise or activity, especially to achieve economic success.

Speaker C:

So that sort of gives us a foundation that at least in our culture in the Western world.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker C:

You know, we would define that word and that feeling and that achievement as being centered in economics, in wealth, in accumulation of economic success, which typically is wealth and money.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker B:

An external measurement.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker B:

Economy as an external measure.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker B:

There's also the inner economy as well.

Speaker C:

I think there's some of the nuggets that we're gonna.

Speaker C:

We're gonna talk about tonight.

Speaker A:

Absolutely.

Speaker C:

Is that inner prospering?

Speaker C:

All right.

Speaker C:

And I think we can start out.

Speaker B:

Let me ask you this quick question.

Speaker B:

Whether it be outer or inner, what is the key, you're the expert here of a good economy.

Speaker B:

What is the key to a good economy?

Speaker C:

Well, you know, my opinion of a good economy is that we have a common good.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

That there's a flow of the resources.

Speaker A:

Bing.

Speaker B:

That's the word I'm looking for.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Flow.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

If there is flow, there is a good economy.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker B:

I really like your definition.

Speaker C:

Well, there's.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Good and.

Speaker C:

And there's that flow creates the common good.

Speaker C:

And so you can say your society prospers.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

It's got nothing to do with your money or your money or that person's money.

Speaker C:

It's.

Speaker C:

Do we have of prospering of the society, of the tribe, of the, you know, of the city, of whatever it might be, entity.

Speaker B:

So your good does not take away from my good.

Speaker C:

That's right.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

We were talking about water is raising in the harbor for all the boats.

Speaker B:

Everybody's doing well.

Speaker C:

That's right.

Speaker B:

That's a good economy.

Speaker C:

And it's not a zero sum game.

Speaker C:

It's not.

Speaker C:

If I get my money, if I get my success, if I get my stuff.

Speaker C:

You're not.

Speaker C:

Or I'm taken away from your stuff.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker C:

And we, we really look.

Speaker C:

A lot of times we look at it that way.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

That there's lack, and it's all based upon lack.

Speaker C:

You know, that there's only so much.

Speaker C:

Okay, so I got to get my piece of the pie, right?

Speaker B:

You're missing that word flow, then.

Speaker B:

Yeah, I'm getting mine.

Speaker B:

I'm putting my treasures in barns and I'm storing them up here on earth.

Speaker B:

I'm not engaged in a flow.

Speaker A:

Exactly.

Speaker B:

Good economy depends on a flow.

Speaker B:

A giving and a receiving and a common good.

Speaker C:

Absolutely.

Speaker A:

There we go.

Speaker C:

Absolutely.

Speaker C:

So I did take one verse out of.

Speaker C:

Out of the new Testamen Testament, the Bible.

Speaker C:

It's in third John.

Speaker C:

And whether it was the disciple John that really wrote it or one of his disciples or whatever, it doesn't really matter.

Speaker C:

It's been given his name.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker C:

And here's what he says.

Speaker C:

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as thy soul prospers.

Speaker C:

So, Stu, you made a really good comment about this when we were talking about it upstairs.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker C:

We're talking about the pre show that there.

Speaker C:

What, there's two different components involved in that.

Speaker A:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker A:

What did I say?

Speaker C:

It was a wisdom nugget.

Speaker B:

It was a good wisdom nugget.

Speaker C:

So what Stu was saying about that verse was that you have both and you have your soul.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

All right.

Speaker C:

Which, you know, again, you might look at that internally, right.

Speaker C:

And there's lots of different ways to define soul, but that's an internal thing.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker C:

And then you have you prospering in the.

Speaker C:

In the material, in the out there.

Speaker A:

Physical and the spiritual.

Speaker A:

That's what I.

Speaker A:

Physical.

Speaker B:

There's a causal relationship between the two.

Speaker C:

Yes, right, exactly.

Speaker C:

And this is another good point that I hope you guys are going to take the heart out there.

Speaker C:

That again, we talked about that word flow, and we're going to elaborate a lot on that because if you're not careful when you start to talk about this, you end up with dualism.

Speaker C:

You get.

Speaker C:

You end up with haves and have nots.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

And all sorts of degrees of that.

Speaker C:

All right?

Speaker C:

And if you're talking internal, well, I'm smarter than you.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

I have more spirituality than you.

Speaker C:

I have, I have, I have.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

And it's not flowing.

Speaker C:

I'm hanging on to it.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

It's mine.

Speaker C:

So we got to be cautious.

Speaker C:

And these are.

Speaker C:

Hopefully we're giving you some aha.

Speaker C:

Moments as we go through this to say, I never thought about it that way.

Speaker C:

I.

Speaker C:

I mean, prosperity has always been kind of getting the money, getting the stuff, getting the Job promotion, all that kind of stuff.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker C:

The economic side.

Speaker A:

So taking the flow to, like another level, like, it will.

Speaker A:

It can.

Speaker A:

It'll flow to you, but then it goes through you.

Speaker A:

Yeah, right.

Speaker A:

And that's how people.

Speaker A:

That's how people can benefit and how you can benefit.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Through you.

Speaker C:

Absolutely.

Speaker A:

To.

Speaker A:

To you and then through you.

Speaker B:

Well, and you're creating that environment, and so you're in an environment where you are actually, as you give, you're receiving more.

Speaker B:

It doesn't make sense to the human ego that wants to collect and store and hoard, but it makes all the sense at a spiritual level.

Speaker B:

As I am giving, I am receiving.

Speaker B:

It's all one flow of energy that does not stop.

Speaker C:

Right, right.

Speaker C:

Well, yeah, you have.

Speaker C:

You really have to look at it in that holistic way.

Speaker C:

And we're going to talk a little bit more about that as we go through here.

Speaker A:

But to elevate your thinking on that, you focus on.

Speaker A:

To me, you focus on the giving, not on that.

Speaker A:

I'm giving.

Speaker B:

No.

Speaker A:

I'm not giving to get order to receive.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker A:

It's because it.

Speaker A:

In my mind, it doesn't work that way.

Speaker B:

No.

Speaker C:

Right, right.

Speaker B:

I agree.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

No, that's.

Speaker C:

You know, you can think that way, but now you really have to look at how you actually put wheels on it.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker B:

So is the mindset and the consciousness behind the giving really important?

Speaker B:

I think it's everything.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

That soul level.

Speaker B:

What is the thought and the feeling behind my generosity and my kindness?

Speaker B:

Because it's determining whether it's coming back to me or not.

Speaker B:

If I'm giving from a selfish place just to get more, you're putting up a dam.

Speaker B:

It's not coming back.

Speaker C:

Well, you got holes in the bucket at that point.

Speaker B:

And you may be the wealthiest person financially, and you're poorest in mindset.

Speaker B:

You know, some of the poorest people I know have way more money than I do.

Speaker C:

All right.

Speaker B:

And some of the most wealthy people have nothing in the bank.

Speaker B:

But they are.

Speaker C:

As far as the material side.

Speaker A:

They are material.

Speaker B:

Their life is full.

Speaker B:

And they don't heard from materials.

Speaker B:

They just don't own them.

Speaker C:

Right, right.

Speaker C:

Well, and I think the Bible, you know, Jesus, you know, teachings, but.

Speaker C:

But more than just Jesus.

Speaker C:

And we'll get.

Speaker C:

We'll kind of get to some more religious where, again, it's a holistic approach because it's.

Speaker C:

It's universal truth.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

It's all connected.

Speaker C:

That's right.

Speaker C:

It's all part of the.

Speaker B:

As within.

Speaker B:

So without.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

So all Right.

Speaker C:

So there we are.

Speaker C:

Especially to achieve economic success, we would think of prosperity.

Speaker C:

But we're going to, we're going to peel the onion back a little bit here and give you some other ideas about that.

Speaker C:

But I took a graph and I thought this was just interesting.

Speaker C:

I'm going to make it a little, you know, around the water cooler talk if that's.

Speaker C:

What if it is trivia.

Speaker C:

r time, you know, since what,:

Speaker C:

I thought that was an interesting statistic, you know, that, that we just don't use it.

Speaker C:

I think you brought up a really good point in the pre show rev that said, what's supplanting that?

Speaker C:

What, what are we, what are we talking more about as opposed to less about?

Speaker B:

I'd be curious to see if the words like lack or poverty have gone up.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

As the prosperity talk has gone down, are we talking poor as, as human beings?

Speaker C:

Right, right.

Speaker C:

I thought that was a great point.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

I don't know what the statistic is, but I might, you know, my natural inclination would be dissimilar to say, but it's going up.

Speaker C:

Okay, so here's what, here's the deal.

Speaker C:

Tonight in this episode, we want to help, you know, stifle that upward movement of the graph.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

Hopefully some of the nuggets that you're going to get and some things you're going to ponder about, what we're going to talk about are going to change the trajectory, at least in your own life.

Speaker C:

And then if it's doing it your own life, then hopefully it flows as we've talked about.

Speaker A:

She's helping everybody to think a little bit differently, that's all.

Speaker A:

Come with us on this journey to think differently.

Speaker C:

Absolutely.

Speaker C:

We talk about it all the time, don't we?

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

All right, so let's just maybe give some framework to the word prosperity and how we might think of prosperity normally in today's society, especially in the West.

Speaker A:

Sure.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker C:

And so, you know, we have a society, we have a country, we have, you know, that, that we would say, are we prospering?

Speaker C:

Are we, you know, successful, you know, that kind of thing.

Speaker C:

And so we look at it at the macro level, you know, the overall big level, what's our gdp, you know, how much employment do we have, how much money in the bank do you know, in general, do people have.

Speaker C:

What kind of quality of life does our society provide for us?

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker C:

And there's all kinds of pundits that talk about that.

Speaker C:

Measurements that you can talk about with the.

Speaker C:

Yes.

Speaker B:

You know, they say if you've got a couple bucks in your wallet and you have eight today and then you have a roof over your head, you're in the top, like 2% of the wealthy people on the planet.

Speaker C:

So there's a good comparison.

Speaker C:

Hang on a minute here.

Speaker C:

Whoa.

Speaker C:

Okay, so think about that next time you let the water run when you brush your teeth.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker B:

Or the next time you're moaning and groaning and not grateful about what you have.

Speaker C:

Okay?

Speaker C:

So we got.

Speaker C:

We got the societal idea of prosperity.

Speaker C:

All right?

Speaker C:

Then we have this other idea that kind of reared its head a little bit in.

Speaker C:

In.

Speaker C:

In the 60s, mainly when you.

Speaker C:

With a televangelist and you started the prosperity gospel teaching.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker C:

And so here were these guys that were coming out on the, you know, on the TV or on the radio, and, you know, it was interesting that I talked about this in the introduction, that a lot of times that teaching became the gumball God.

Speaker C:

Okay?

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker C:

That all you got to do is this, and you can turn the crank and you can put the thing in and boom, you get the gumball.

Speaker C:

It doesn't negate the fact that there's a natural law out there of intention and of speaking prosperity and of speaking good.

Speaker C:

But that's a real easy topic to get twisted and yanked.

Speaker C:

And, you know, people abuse it.

Speaker B:

And every tool can be used.

Speaker B:

The scripture says it's the father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Speaker B:

And that has, I think, in the televangelist world become.

Speaker B:

It's your good pleasure to give me the kingdom because the ego gets involved.

Speaker B:

The ego is driving, driving that prosperity teaching.

Speaker B:

And it's like any tool misused can be very dangerous.

Speaker B:

And I think it has been in religious circles.

Speaker C:

Sure.

Speaker C:

Oh, I've seen it.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

I have absolutely seen it happen.

Speaker C:

I've seen that happen in my own life.

Speaker C:

We were talking about this again on the pre show, but God did tell.

Speaker B:

Me just yesterday that you guys are supposed to get me an airplane.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Well, you know, can you settle for $600 shoes?

Speaker C:

Sorry, I can't get an airplane.

Speaker A:

What makes me in this regard, what makes me sad sometimes is when you hear somebody saying on tv, if you send in some money.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker C:

Well, there's words.

Speaker A:

Purchase this holy water or whatever it is, and you're going to.

Speaker A:

Then you're going to have, like, physical health or success or whatever you're going through.

Speaker A:

You know, it's.

Speaker A:

And so people might do this.

Speaker A:

So here's the point I want to make.

Speaker A:

They may go through this and then just stop.

Speaker A:

They send the money and that's it.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

And everything I know about God and what Jesus taught us, it.

Speaker A:

There's action involved.

Speaker A:

Like, it's not just say this prayer or do this thing, and then God does all this stuff for you.

Speaker A:

You still have to participate right in it.

Speaker A:

And it's not that God won't do anything for you, but you have to.

Speaker A:

He wants you to take act to be in relationship with somebody.

Speaker A:

There's action.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker A:

You're not just, you know, I'm not just saying, hey, you know, Mac and Rev, you guys are my good friends, you know, and, you know, can you help me, like, move?

Speaker A:

And then I wait for you guys to move me.

Speaker A:

Like, I don't participate in it.

Speaker C:

You're drinking a beer and eating a pizza.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

I'm sitting back like, you're gonna be moving your own weights, guy.

Speaker B:

I'm sorry.

Speaker A:

That's.

Speaker A:

The point is, like, there's actually.

Speaker A:

I guess it's.

Speaker A:

Is that there's action.

Speaker A:

It's not just, well, now, is it?

Speaker B:

Let me just work with that idea.

Speaker B:

Is that an action to send that money to that televangelist?

Speaker B:

Is that in of itself an action?

Speaker B:

It's a flow.

Speaker A:

It doesn't stop there.

Speaker A:

So that is an action.

Speaker A:

I'm just saying don't stop.

Speaker A:

Like, you got to keep moving.

Speaker A:

I mean, I talk about this all the time.

Speaker A:

You got to keep moving.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker A:

You know, constantly.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

And I think the discernment there, you know.

Speaker C:

Yes.

Speaker C:

It's still a flow.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker C:

It came to me.

Speaker C:

Now I'm flowing it to the televangelist.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker C:

But I also think that there needs to be some discernment involved there, because now we're talking about wisdom to use the flow.

Speaker C:

All right?

Speaker C:

And everybody's different.

Speaker C:

I get this.

Speaker C:

And I don't want to totally sit judgment on the Evan televangelist.

Speaker C:

But.

Speaker B:

But if the mindset of the person who sent to the televangelist is, I'm doing good.

Speaker B:

Yeah, they're doing good.

Speaker B:

Whether they're doing good or not, is it the consciousness of the giver that matters more than the receiver?

Speaker C:

I would say so.

Speaker A:

I.

Speaker A:

I'd say yes.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Here's.

Speaker A:

Here's where it kind of goes upside down, is I send in my money or whatever.

Speaker A:

I send in and then I sit back on the couch eating my Cheez Its.

Speaker A:

I'm gonna get physical health.

Speaker A:

My health's gonna get better.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker A:

You know, instead of, like, that's what I'm saying.

Speaker A:

Instead of taking action, you know, on it.

Speaker B:

Yeah, I, I, well, flow is not an event.

Speaker B:

Abundance is not an event of flow.

Speaker B:

It is a way.

Speaker C:

There you go.

Speaker C:

It's not a one off.

Speaker C:

That's right.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Well, you know, this is the kind of stuff.

Speaker C:

And it's not about.

Speaker C:

Here's the other thing, too, especially in.

Speaker C:

I'm gonna.

Speaker C:

I mean, I'm not, I'm not versed really well in other faiths other than Christianity, but I do see this happening in, in the Christian world.

Speaker C:

All right.

Speaker C:

And that's where belief is enough.

Speaker C:

You know, you have sort of this, you adopt a belief.

Speaker C:

Oh, I believe in God.

Speaker C:

Oh, I believe.

Speaker C:

God is abundance.

Speaker C:

I believe.

Speaker C:

I believe.

Speaker C:

I believe.

Speaker C:

All right.

Speaker C:

But quite frankly, I think Jesus called that out.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

And he said that's all well and good.

Speaker C:

Have to believe.

Speaker C:

No worries.

Speaker B:

Step one.

Speaker C:

That's.

Speaker C:

That's right.

Speaker C:

That's right.

Speaker C:

That's where we start.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

That isn't the finish line.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

So.

Speaker C:

So anyway, had that.

Speaker C:

Then you have.

Speaker C:

And the Rev and myself are really, you know, Rev much more than I, because he's a unity minister.

Speaker C:

This idea of new thought, which we've been talking about, isn't really new at all.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker C:

But it is this idea about setting intentions and putting out there the, into the ether, the positive, the energy of what you would like, you know, to see happen.

Speaker C:

All right.

Speaker C:

That the goodness.

Speaker C:

And I think God only acts on good intentions opposed to bad intentions.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And it's important to recognize that what I teach is it's good intentions.

Speaker B:

Not just for me.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Good intentions for the tribe.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker B:

For everybody.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

There's that common good thing.

Speaker B:

Because if I'm holding that my good, only my good, you're on your own.

Speaker B:

I'm part of the selfish world, and I'm actually creating a poverty consciousness because everything, prosperity, money, relationship, good, love, it's all got a root.

Speaker B:

And that's consciousness.

Speaker C:

Absolutely.

Speaker B:

What is the thought and the feeling behind the action.

Speaker C:

Yep.

Speaker C:

No, I think that's great advice.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker B:

Again, take that thought.

Speaker B:

You can't just set an intention and not do anything.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker B:

You're setting the intention.

Speaker B:

Take the next step.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

But I also believe that this is a, it, it's a mentally healthy way to go through life.

Speaker C:

Sure.

Speaker A:

Is to look at, you know, the, the positive, like mind over Matter, you know, like, I know in New Thought there's like law of attraction, you know, what you're right.

Speaker A:

Focusing on is what's going to manifest in your life.

Speaker A:

And I, and I, I mean, I believe that because it happens.

Speaker A:

For me, it's just a better way to live.

Speaker A:

Like, why?

Speaker A:

Why?

Speaker A:

You know, negative thoughts to me create, you know, lack.

Speaker A:

And, and so, I mean, so you want to, you want to have more positive thoughts, have positive things happening in your life.

Speaker B:

And it doesn't mean that negative things are happening.

Speaker B:

But, you know, your.

Speaker A:

Doesn't mean they're not happening.

Speaker A:

They may, but how you look at it, like I think I said in an episode or so ago, like, look at it like an adventure.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

And where am I going to head to in this?

Speaker A:

And I don't know sometimes.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker A:

But if you look at it that way, there'll be some, you know, some learning, There'll be some new thoughts come your way.

Speaker B:

The most prosperous people I've ever met on the planet are the ones that see good when everybody else has missed it.

Speaker B:

Nobody sees the good here, but they can go take a moment to look at that sunset that you all just missed.

Speaker C:

Yeah, right.

Speaker B:

You know, there's something going on that's distracting everybody.

Speaker B:

Just pause and breathe and go, wow, amazing.

Speaker B:

That just filled me with awe.

Speaker B:

That's the most prosperous person on the planet.

Speaker B:

And they're attracting by the vibration at which they're focusing on something better.

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker C:

Well, it's an appreciation, I think, first of all.

Speaker C:

And at the same time, we are talking about thinking differently, looking at things differently.

Speaker C:

They're there.

Speaker C:

They're there all the time.

Speaker C:

And yet we've got to change our thinking as well as to how we approach.

Speaker C:

This is just life stuff, man.

Speaker C:

This isn't about the Mercedes on the refrigerator.

Speaker C:

This is.

Speaker C:

This is holistic.

Speaker C:

We've already talked about this word.

Speaker C:

If you start to apply these kinds of thoughts, these kinds of actions, you know, it just creates more.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

And when I say more, I'm not talking about necessarily exclusively more money in your bank account, although that certainly can be part of the equation too, if you're doing the right thing and you're providing service for somebody.

Speaker B:

See, what I teach is it's an awareness of the connection to life.

Speaker B:

The more connection I feel to life, to your good, to your prosperity, to your wealth, to your love, the more I'm going to have that in my life.

Speaker B:

So I think it's really important.

Speaker B:

When somebody has a win or a windfall, you celebrate with them.

Speaker B:

You're grateful for their good.

Speaker B:

That in itself is an invitation.

Speaker B:

It's a fishing line going out to the universe to say, I want the same, but I'm just going to be happy for you.

Speaker B:

So many people think there's a limited source.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker B:

Well, no, you got yours and now there's less for me.

Speaker C:

That's right.

Speaker C:

And that zero.

Speaker B:

That thought right there just stopped the flow coming back to me.

Speaker C:

Absolutely.

Speaker C:

Yeah, we've.

Speaker C:

Yeah, we can't say that enough.

Speaker A:

There's a generosity in that way of thinking.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

I mean, there's like, you know, giving and gratitude are.

Speaker A:

There are ways like to open yourself to.

Speaker A:

To more abundance in your life and other people's lives.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

So the way you're thinking, that that's a gener to think and why not?

Speaker B:

Exactly.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker A:

Because if it's a.

Speaker A:

If it's a flow, if it's a two you through you, I mean, it's just going to benefit.

Speaker A:

Everyone's going to benefit.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

You know, and then remember years ago, I'm talking maybe seven, eight, nine years ago.

Speaker C:

Remember we had a blog that we did called to you through you.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Remember that?

Speaker A:

Yeah, of course.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

That was fun.

Speaker C:

That thinking has been around, that's for sure.

Speaker C:

And I know the rev, you know.

Speaker B:

When I became prosperous because I lived in a lot of poverty, my life, it's like, man, I was just poor.

Speaker B:

My thoughts were poor.

Speaker B:

Is when I began to think the more I made, the more good I could do on the planet.

Speaker B:

I didn't think about getting Mercedes and I never drove a Mercedes, but I've had nice cars.

Speaker B:

But I thought about what I could do with this to make somebody else's life better.

Speaker B:

It's that moment when you were a kid that giving of the gift became more joyous than the receiving of the gift.

Speaker A:

What you're describing is what I call like breathing room.

Speaker A:

Like if I have a financial breath, you think about breathing room with time.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

I need time.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

If I have financial breathing room, I can choose to help somebody out, you know, when I want to.

Speaker A:

In that regard, that's another reason to kind of go through this and change your thinking on prosperity is to be able to help.

Speaker A:

If you.

Speaker A:

And if you come from that perspective.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

It's not about what you have.

Speaker A:

It's like, what do I have so I can help somebody else Right.

Speaker A:

Out.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker A:

Does that make sense?

Speaker A:

Like what?

Speaker C:

Oh, absolutely.

Speaker B:

You know, again, you don't do it to get it.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

You just do it because it, it just feels good.

Speaker C:

But that Takes discernment and wisdom.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker A:

We're the wise guys, man.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

Come on.

Speaker C:

Yeah, okay.

Speaker C:

Yes, we are.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

Imagine that might be trying to help people.

Speaker C:

Think this might be a little wisdom in there.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker B:

You know, I'm saying.

Speaker B:

And it's not just money.

Speaker C:

Yeah, right, right.

Speaker B:

I tell people all the time, you want more love in your life, go do something loving for somebody else.

Speaker B:

You want more health, go take care of somebody who's sick.

Speaker C:

You will prosper in that love.

Speaker C:

Okay?

Speaker B:

In that love and that peace and that health and that joy.

Speaker B:

Go create something joyful when you're depressed.

Speaker B:

It doesn't make any sense, but I'm telling you, it's good medicine.

Speaker C:

Oh, well, it.

Speaker C:

And it makes the world.

Speaker C:

It makes the world a better place.

Speaker C:

You know, again, we.

Speaker C:

We're talking all the time about the flow and.

Speaker C:

And it moves outward into others, period.

Speaker A:

Okay?

Speaker A:

It does.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

It keeps it all going.

Speaker C:

All right.

Speaker C:

And then the last kind of economic thing that I thought of this week as we this together, a prosperity, are things like coaching, like wisdom, like advice, like, I'm going to use.

Speaker C:

Just use his name, like a Dave Ramsey or somebody like them that will help you, you know, achieve again, a sense of priorities, a sense of discernment, a sense of a plan.

Speaker C:

You know, all these things you have to implement, but these are what.

Speaker C:

These are doings, right?

Speaker A:

Well, what I love about.

Speaker A:

About Dave Ramsey is he focuses on, like, stewardship.

Speaker A:

Right, right.

Speaker A:

Like, what are you stewards of in life?

Speaker A:

Discipline and like, generosity.

Speaker A:

I mean, I keep coming back to generosity because I think, to me, that's one of the keys to being prosperous.

Speaker A:

I mean, but he also taught, I.

Speaker B:

Remember, you know, his class just changed my life.

Speaker B:

Don't give from an empty cup.

Speaker B:

If you're giving from an empty cup and feeling lack, you're actually not only creating more lack in your life, you're creating lack for the person you're giving to.

Speaker B:

So back to scripture.

Speaker B:

Be a joyful giver.

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker C:

Yeah, that's such a great point.

Speaker C:

Think of.

Speaker C:

Just think about that for a second that there are nuances in all of this.

Speaker C:

Now, again, you're not going to figure them all out and just know they're there.

Speaker C:

But at the end of the day, if there is, again, a goodness involved, then I think you're on the right.

Speaker B:

Path, and it's not a human measurement.

Speaker B:

One of my favorite stories, I've got it hanging on my office, is a painting of the widow's mind.

Speaker B:

And Jesus says, this woman gave fully and completely of her wholeness.

Speaker B:

She didn't have a lack consciousness.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Those who had all the money put a couple of, you know, talents in there and he chastises them.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker B:

Because he's calling their consciousness out.

Speaker B:

They're living from lack.

Speaker B:

The woman was wealthier in heart, in spirit, and in truth.

Speaker B:

I wish I could hear the chapter two on that story, because I bet she became really wealthy.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

There's the white spaces we didn't get any update on.

Speaker A:

Well, one.

Speaker A:

One.

Speaker A:

One phrase I love that Ramsey uses is financial peace that he talks about.

Speaker A:

And it's, you know, to me, it's kind of like trusting because he.

Speaker A:

He's a Christian, like, biblical.

Speaker A:

So it's like trusting in, you know, God's principles and not just, like, expecting, like, miracles to happen.

Speaker A:

Like, you know, it's like trusting God.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

And it's not magic.

Speaker A:

It's just like, it's using the laws.

Speaker B:

The spiritual laws put in place for you to you prosper.

Speaker C:

Yes.

Speaker C:

So.

Speaker A:

So I love that.

Speaker A:

That financial.

Speaker C:

I love it, too.

Speaker A:

It's like.

Speaker C:

Yeah, that's good advice.

Speaker C:

You know, so with that, okay, we're trying to.

Speaker C:

We're fire.

Speaker C:

Hosing you here a little bit.

Speaker C:

I know.

Speaker C:

All right.

Speaker C:

You maybe have to listen.

Speaker A:

I should have wore my fireman one.

Speaker C:

Or two times today.

Speaker C:

So we're going to take a little breather right now.

Speaker C:

We're going to come back and talk about some of the different paths to prosperity, and then we'll just kind of wrap it all up for you.

Speaker C:

We'll give you the little nuggets maybe that you can take away.

Speaker C:

So hang on with us, and we'll be right back.

Speaker C:

All right, let's take a look at this.

Speaker C:

So we're gonna move on.

Speaker B:

He's gonna go get his lasso.

Speaker A:

Come back.

Speaker C:

Come back.

Speaker C:

Hello.

Speaker A:

Come back to what we're talking about.

Speaker C:

All right.

Speaker C:

So let's see.

Speaker C:

All right.

Speaker C:

All right.

Speaker A:

You.

Speaker A:

It's funny because in.

Speaker A:

In.

Speaker A:

In the bullets, I looked at this earlier, early on, and under religious paths, you had biblical Islam, Buddhism, and then you recently added economic.

Speaker A:

I'm like, yeah.

Speaker A:

How is that religious?

Speaker C:

Well, it's not.

Speaker C:

It's just past.

Speaker C:

Well, you're right, because the title of that was Religious Paths to Prosperity, and then I changed it just to pass.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Oh, good.

Speaker C:

Well, you never know.

Speaker C:

You just never know where my mind is going.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

I was like, where's that church, the economic.

Speaker B:

Well, let's go get your piggy bank and place it in the center.

Speaker C:

That's what I should have.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Watch it grow.

Speaker C:

All right, let's get back to it, guys.

Speaker C:

Here we go.

Speaker C:

All right, all right.

Speaker C:

Welcome back to the Wise Guys.

Speaker C:

And in this episode, we are fleshing out.

Speaker C:

We are just playing around with and expanding this concept of prosperity.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker C:

All right.

Speaker C:

Which is a really fun, great thing.

Speaker C:

I mean, if you really approach it right, you can have a lot of fun with it, and you can really enhance your life.

Speaker C:

I'm just gonna call it that.

Speaker C:

I think there's a lot of principles in here that if you're doing it right, it gets even more right.

Speaker A:

So, Mac, let me say it.

Speaker A:

That is.

Speaker A:

Let me say this right now.

Speaker A:

If you heard that word prosperity and your stomach just went in a knot, just take a couple deep breaths.

Speaker A:

It's all gonna be okay.

Speaker A:

There's a different way to think about this word.

Speaker A:

Whatever is going on in your head that sent you there, just push it.

Speaker A:

Say, thank you, you no longer serve me.

Speaker A:

Let's move you to the side and let's hear.

Speaker A:

Let's hear something new today.

Speaker C:

Fight it.

Speaker B:

Give it a hug first.

Speaker B:

Yeah, it might.

Speaker B:

There could be a reason you had that knot.

Speaker B:

I feel that.

Speaker A:

I got it.

Speaker B:

Now I release it.

Speaker C:

That's a great way to treat your dragon, as I was calling it earlier.

Speaker A:

There we go.

Speaker C:

All right, so paths to prosperity.

Speaker C:

Now, there are some biblical principles that we can talk about, and they're not exclusive by any means.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker C:

But, you know, the Bible does talk about prosperity.

Speaker C:

It does talk about the prospect proper way, if you will, to grid a prosperous life.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker B:

Well, and again, it's going to be flow the parable of the talents.

Speaker B:

Don't bury the gifts.

Speaker B:

Don't bury your talents.

Speaker B:

Don't bury what God has given you.

Speaker C:

Give.

Speaker B:

Spread them out.

Speaker B:

Invest them in the world.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker C:

Oh, that's.

Speaker C:

That's a key principle.

Speaker C:

So we have to understand that all of it, wealth included, would be a gift, would be provided for by God.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker C:

And there's no limit to that.

Speaker C:

So as we were talking about earlier, we were talking about the zero sum game, where if I got some, you got to get less.

Speaker C:

It doesn't work that way in the cosmic.

Speaker B:

I always ask people when they're living in that consciousness, how big is your God?

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Maybe.

Speaker B:

How small is your God?

Speaker C:

That's right.

Speaker C:

So if you're thinking that way.

Speaker C:

And here's another point to make on that, though, because again, the.

Speaker C:

The.

Speaker C:

The prosperity gospel could get mixed up in this.

Speaker C:

But if you're thinking about God and his gifts and all that God is not capricious.

Speaker C:

All right, so there's not going to be this, well, I'm going to give you the money, but I'm not giving you the money.

Speaker C:

All right, it doesn't.

Speaker C:

That's not God's heart, and that's not the way it works.

Speaker C:

So again, don't think that there's some, you know, you got to jump through hoops or you got to do whatever.

Speaker C:

We already talked about setting intention and cultivating the positive energy.

Speaker C:

That's our responsibility.

Speaker C:

But it isn't like God's up there going, let's see, what do I want to give the rev this week?

Speaker C:

Cool.

Speaker C:

But John's car is going to break down.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker A:

I need a little bit more, you.

Speaker B:

Know, so we got the Mercedes, but it's broken down in the shop.

Speaker B:

Wait a minute.

Speaker C:

Yeah, it's a used one.

Speaker C:

All right, so.

Speaker C:

So again, you know, the biblical way to look at that again, is this from God as a flow.

Speaker A:

Here's the way I see this God.

Speaker A:

There is no limit to what God.

Speaker A:

The abundance God has for you, and we all have an infinite amount available to us.

Speaker A:

So where, so where are there differences between people?

Speaker A:

It goes.

Speaker A:

Comes back to you.

Speaker C:

That's right.

Speaker A:

You only limit yourself.

Speaker C:

Yep.

Speaker A:

So if you would just open, if you could open yourself up to accept that God has more for you than you can even imagine.

Speaker A:

Guess what's going to happen.

Speaker B:

But, but don't give me the other hand because you're always so good at the other side.

Speaker B:

Well, we're telling the people that are living in poverty, it's all your stinking thinking.

Speaker B:

It's your fault.

Speaker B:

Too bad for you.

Speaker A:

I didn't say that.

Speaker A:

I didn't say.

Speaker B:

I'm asking you to clarify.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I did not say that.

Speaker A:

I just said it's available to you.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And I'm not saying that you.

Speaker A:

Maybe that's where they, where they want to be at that moment.

Speaker A:

I don't know.

Speaker A:

I mean, you know, it's.

Speaker A:

It's kind of like there's different points in my life where I've been at certain, I don't know, certain, say success, certain successes in my life that if I, if that had happened earlier on, I wouldn't have been ready to handle what was happening with me.

Speaker B:

You did.

Speaker B:

So maybe mindset, maybe it's a set point of prosperity.

Speaker A:

Well, maybe it's just a timing thing.

Speaker A:

Like when I'm prepared, when I've done what I need to do to be prepared, then it then comes into my life at that point.

Speaker A:

Now I'm ready.

Speaker A:

Right so it's not that you're so.

Speaker A:

Yeah, no.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

I think there's definitely something to that.

Speaker B:

Is there?

Speaker B:

On the other side of that equation, the consciousness of I'm hoarding, you know, that's also scriptural about holding everything to yourself in your barn, storing up for yourself treasures on Earth.

Speaker B:

Is it.

Speaker B:

Is that consciousness.

Speaker C:

That's the feeling.

Speaker B:

Partly.

Speaker C:

Partly.

Speaker B:

Part of the problem why others do not have.

Speaker B:

It's not just their consciousness that they're broke or poor or starving.

Speaker B:

It's that the collective consciousness has lived in the energy of not enough.

Speaker B:

God is not enough.

Speaker B:

So I am a part.

Speaker B:

If I'm hoarding a part of that poverty somewhere else in the world.

Speaker B:

Now, that could get very political.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Can I stop the flow for the entire human race by hoarding?

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

When is you playing your part?

Speaker C:

I think that's.

Speaker C:

That's a given.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker A:

I like to.

Speaker A:

I like to take accountability for what is happening in my life is how I look at it.

Speaker A:

So if I.

Speaker A:

If I have less than right now, I personally am going to take that on myself.

Speaker A:

You know, I'm responsible and accountable for me and my ways of thinking.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker A:

So.

Speaker A:

And, you know, tough times may have happened, things may have been thrown my way.

Speaker A:

You know, just ask Job.

Speaker A:

You know, he's.

Speaker A:

He went through a whole bunch, but he kept, you know, pushing forward, believing and trusting in God and, you know, and eventually, when the time is right, because I'm a big believer in that.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

You know, when it's.

Speaker A:

When you're ready for it, then it.

Speaker A:

Then it comes your way.

Speaker C:

Well, there's a ton of examples in the Bible, whether it's the, you know, Older Testament or it's the Newer Testament.

Speaker C:

Things like first and last and your soul prospering, like, you know, we talked about in the beginning, loving one another and prospering in your relationships.

Speaker C:

I think Paul uses the word contentment, and I think that's a biggie when it comes to.

Speaker C:

To prospering that whatever's going on, you know, if you're.

Speaker C:

There's a contentment that's built as you practice.

Speaker B:

Well, you know, then that's.

Speaker B:

That's kind of when I get to that point.

Speaker B:

I know I've heard people interviewed that have to walk two miles every day just to drink water.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And they are happier by measurement than the United States people in the United States, we have everything.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

So it's a prosperity consciousness that has nothing to do with what they have and everything to do with what.

Speaker B:

Who they are.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

So there are people who are broke and have a broke consciousness, and there are people that don't really have a big bank account but are wealthy beyond measure.

Speaker C:

It's all about perspective, okay?

Speaker C:

And it's all about how you think.

Speaker C:

But this is not.

Speaker C:

This is not exclusive to Christianity by any means.

Speaker C:

Okay?

Speaker C:

I mean, we gave some examples out of the Bible, but Islam has very similar, you know, concepts of peace and contentment and happiness.

Speaker C:

Buddhism, you know, wealth is a tool.

Speaker C:

You know, you got to manage it wisely and ethically.

Speaker C:

And I'm just hitting some high points of these, you know, different religions.

Speaker C:

But the point I'm trying to make is that it's a common.

Speaker C:

It's.

Speaker C:

It's universal.

Speaker C:

There are universal principles involved.

Speaker B:

And what is universal in all those religions and all the ones you didn't mention is giving, giving flow back to the flow.

Speaker B:

What are you giving?

Speaker B:

That's how you will be prospered.

Speaker C:

Right?

Speaker C:

So.

Speaker C:

So these are some great.

Speaker C:

I think these have been some really great nuggets I'm hoping that you're.

Speaker C:

You've gotten from this.

Speaker C:

So let us just kind of wrap this little thing up here.

Speaker C:

Let's give you the highlights.

Speaker C:

How about that?

Speaker C:

Let's just end this with some takeaways.

Speaker C:

People will call them that.

Speaker C:

So you got to kind of start, I think, what we've talked about in this episode.

Speaker C:

You got to start with the right attitude and the right thinking about prosperity.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

Whether it's not just the material wealth that you can prosper in, I think is that changing of the thinking.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

And we've already talked about this.

Speaker C:

But just to hit the highlight, everything supports everything else.

Speaker C:

I mean, you don't come over here and prosper and not over here and, you know, do, you know, kick some people in the gut over here, and yet you prosper over here.

Speaker C:

It all flows together.

Speaker C:

The energy is common.

Speaker A:

It's all connected.

Speaker C:

That's right.

Speaker A:

That's how I think of it.

Speaker C:

You got to look at this in the holistic whole and not try to, you know, the dualistic or trialistic.

Speaker C:

There's also this word as trialistic.

Speaker C:

Is there?

Speaker C:

Okay, but you got my.

Speaker A:

We can make it up.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

We're chopping it up in little points and all that kind of stuff.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

We're separating.

Speaker C:

All right.

Speaker C:

No, there's a holistic approach to.

Speaker C:

That will cultivate peace and contentment more than.

Speaker C:

If you try to isolate it on.

Speaker C:

Even on a one on one basis.

Speaker C:

Not that.

Speaker C:

That's not good.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

Wealth is good.

Speaker C:

If there's the.

Speaker C:

If not the.

Speaker C:

But.

Speaker C:

But there's the if.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker C:

Used ethically and with wisdom.

Speaker C:

Right, we talked about that already.

Speaker C:

But that's just a summary that there's a.

Speaker C:

There's a doing, there's a responsibility that we have if we're blessed with it.

Speaker C:

All right?

Speaker C:

And whether or not it gets taken away or you just become way more anxious and your life just goes in the toilet, mentally and emotionally, physically, and you still got the same amount of money in the bank.

Speaker C:

Okay?

Speaker C:

But it can all fall apart if you don't have that ethic, you know, the ethics and the wisdom to be able to manage it.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker C:

And the last thing, we've talked about this too.

Speaker C:

Trust God.

Speaker C:

You trust that these universal principles are true and you just enter into the flow of it.

Speaker B:

Well, there's one principle we haven't talked about that puts us right into that arena of God, and that's gratitude.

Speaker C:

Oh, yeah, that's right.

Speaker B:

The more grateful I am for what I have, the more it will come to me.

Speaker C:

Love it.

Speaker B:

And that's really important.

Speaker B:

How thankful are you for what you have?

Speaker B:

Whether it's two mites or if it's a million dollars, doesn't make any difference.

Speaker B:

The same principle applies.

Speaker B:

Gratitude creates increase.

Speaker C:

Yeah, I agree.

Speaker C:

So hopefully you got some goodies out of that.

Speaker C:

Right?

Speaker C:

Hopefully that worked for you.

Speaker C:

But of course, we have to leave you with the challenge, right?

Speaker C:

Isn't that what we always have to do?

Speaker A:

Your ongoing mission, should you choose to accept it.

Speaker C:

That's right.

Speaker C:

Is.

Speaker C:

Is.

Speaker C:

Oh, yeah.

Speaker C:

So you need to think differently, right?

Speaker C:

You need to decide to think differently.

Speaker C:

All right?

Speaker C:

Then you need to find some other people that have taken the red pill and not the blue pill, right?

Speaker C:

You gotta go find them and they'll come to you.

Speaker C:

Free your mind.

Speaker C:

There it is.

Speaker C:

Then you strap on the armor and again, that's just the truth that you can accept.

Speaker C:

We talked all episode about the truth that we believe in prosperity, right?

Speaker C:

Then you storm the gates, you take that truth and you try to help others, right?

Speaker C:

You try to help others see the same thing.

Speaker C:

You help them to try to see differently and their life will prosper more.

Speaker C:

Isn't that great?

Speaker C:

And lastly, you just unleash the unthinkable.

Speaker C:

Because a lot of times when you approach some of the stuff we talk about, hopefully a lot of the stuff we talk about, you've got to unleash unthinkable results.

Speaker C:

You're going to unleash unthinkable thoughts, right?

Speaker C:

You're just, I mean, strap in, we talk about that.

Speaker C:

All the time.

Speaker B:

Unthinkable Treasure.

Speaker C:

Ah.

Speaker C:

Unthinkable treasure.

Speaker C:

I love that.

Speaker C:

So that's it, guys.

Speaker C:

I appreciate it.

Speaker C:

What a fun topic, right?

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Thanks, Mac.

Speaker C:

We had a great time with this tonight.

Speaker C:

We hope that, you know, your life will prosper.

Speaker C:

Live long.

Speaker C:

What did you.

Speaker A:

Live long and prosper.

Speaker C:

Live long and prosper.

Speaker A:

I gotta hold it.

Speaker C:

I don't know if.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

I don't know if I can do my hand like that.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

Prosper.

Speaker C:

All right.

Speaker C:

Have a great week.

Speaker C:

Thanks for listening, and we will catch you next week.

Speaker C:

Tune in when we have another.

Speaker C:

What?

Speaker B:

Unthinkable.

Speaker A:

Episode.

Speaker C:

Conversation.

Speaker A:

Conversation.

Speaker C:

Episode.

Speaker C:

Same.

Speaker C:

Same thing.

Speaker C:

Okay, we'll do it.

Speaker C:

We'll make it unthinkable.

Speaker C:

Thanks a bunch, gang.

Speaker C:

Take care.
